(Y/N)'s P.O.V

I was sister to Eragon. We got left on our uncle's doorstep when he was a baby and I was barely one. Our mother couldn't raise us and our uncle take care of us. But I was always the unnoticed sibling. Eragon and our "cousin" just left me alone like I wasn't even there. My uncle tried to make me seem unnoticed.

But I told him that I was fine with it. That one day someone will see how great I am. Even after, our cousin left before the army could make him serve in the army. Eragon got a dragon named Saphira. It seemed that after she grew full grown, that's when stuff went south. After our uncle died by the Ra'zac as Brom called them as he taught us about dragons.

That we both have a dragons. I didn't believe that since I didn't found an dragon egg yet. I was in a forest with Eragon and Saphira. It was after he rescued Arya from a Shade that was holding her against her will. I rubbed my neck. I was clawed by the Shade after getting a green and red egg from one of the rooms.

He didn't want me taking them but we was able to get away because of a mysterious stranger helped us get away. The green egg opened up as soon as I touched it. I was showing them to Eragon one night. That's when I get my dragon, Emerald, she was waiting centuries and centuries for me. She made me feel important.

Of course I would.

I would have laughed but Saphira fly away after Arya fainted from being infected by the Shade. It had me worried about the mark on my shoulder. Saphira come back with a mysterious guy named Murtagh who was following us. He lead us to the Varden to get Arya healed. We got her inside and everyone saw Eragon's and mine dragons. I started to feel fainted. I saw that because he was mistrusted for being Morzan's son. I got in front of him and pointed my sword at them.

"(Y/N), what are you doing?" One of the people in the Varden explained," He's a traitor."

"Why? Because of who his father is, that doesn't mean he'll be like him," I explained," You're not taking him and locking him up."

"Step aside, he can't be trusted," Jormundur said.

"No, I won....." I started to say when the mark on my shoulder burned.

I clawed at my neck as Murtagh caught me. It felt like a stick of fire was put on my shoulder. Eragon moved my shirt aside and there was this big black spot. It burned like hell as I screamed.

"She needs help," Eragon yelled.

"Stay with me, Murtagh," I said, holding his hand," Please don't let me die before I tell you something."

"Tell me what?" was the last thing I heard Murtagh say before darkness took over. I hope I survived this so I can tell Murtagh how I felt about him.

Hours later

I wake up in a room and saw Murtagh sleeping with his head on my bed. I saw Eragon sleeping on the couch behind Murtagh. I touched Murtagh's head and he wake up and looked at me. He hugged me.

"I thought we lose you," Murtagh said," How are you feel?"

"My shoulder still hurts," I replied, touching the dark mark," Whyis it still there?"

"King Galbatorix has sent his army and the shade that marked you is here," Murtagh explained," Eragon is going to take him out and you should be fine."

"Hey, sis, how are you doing?" Eragon asked.

"My shoulder still hurts," I answered.

"I'm sorry, the healers could heal Arya but they couldn't heal you for some reason," Eragon explained," I think if I take out the Shade who do this to you, you'll be better."

"Okay," I said.

"I have to go get ready," Eragon replied.

I nodded okay as Eragon left. I looked at Murtagh and he kissed my hand.

"I'm glad you're still alive," Murtagh said.

"Me too," I replied, smiling.

I felt like I was burning up and a little comfortable because of the mark. Murtagh keep wiping my forehead and to keep my body cool the best he could. Maybe he does like me? Or maybe he's just doing this to be nice and that the fact that I was Eragon's sister.

"What was that thing you wanted to tell me?" Murtagh asked.

I blushed. I didn't know if I wanted him about my massive crush on him. What if he doesn't like me back.

"You know that you can tell me anything," Murtagh said.

"I like you a lot," I answered," I have since I first saw you."

"I like you a lot, too," Murtagh said," You was beautiful when I first saw you back when Eragon and you were saving Arya."

"I guess it was love at first," I replied.

We laughing until I felt a small burning sensation on my shoulder. I felt better after a few minutes. Then Eragon run in a few minutes later and hugged me.

"I'm so sorry that I haven't always treated you like a sister, that I almost lose you," Eragon said," I promisse to never do that to you again."

"I would like that very much," I said.

Eragon stands and smiles at us.

"I'll give you two so alone time," Eragon said," I have to check on other people."

"Okay, see you later," I told him.

He run off and I looked at Murtagh.

"I love you, Murtagh," I said.

"I love you, too," Murtagh replied.

He kissed me and it was really great for a first kiss. I laughed at his jokes as Murtagh holds me all night. I fall asleep in his arms. I was glad that I got sick. I wouldn't have met Murtagh and make Eragon finally see that I'm important. That he really should care for me as much as I did all these years.

I felt like I wasn't the unnoticed girl anymore. I had a brother again. I married Murtagh after a few years of dating. Now I have wanted I always wanted. To be noticed by someone. Eragon and Murtagh made sure I never felt unnoticed ever again. They always made sure I was happy the rest of our lives together.
