I walk to the mysterious figure. "Greetings." They fret about, playing with their fingers, which intertwined with his heavy cloak. "H-hey..." He stuttered, before crouching on the ground and dusting away the sand with a loose flick of his wrist, frantically searching for something. "What are you looking for?" I question. He huffs a bit, before looking up at me and I noticed his hood fall down, revealing dark silky hair. "I'm looking for a locket I dropped." Then he went right back to looking. "What's your name?" I ask softly, hoping he wouldn't ask me the same. "M-My name... My name Is... C-courage." he manages to stutter out, growling quietly. "And you are?"
"My name's Elysium. My parents are historians..."
"I like that name." He huffs before lifting up a rusted silver locket, a beautifully engraved bird, a robin, dancing on the front of it.
