The Blind Date Pt.1

Y/N's POV

"Seriously? You got yourself a blind date?" Louis questions me again like as if I'm serious on making that decision. He had his mouth half-open, and we are currently sitting at his studio right after his sound check for his new song. I was more like a sister for Louis, he's my guy bestfriend and right now I just told him that I got myself a blind date.

"Like, what the hell Y/N? Got tired of playing Homescapes in your flat?" he snickers at me and controls his laughter.

"Is that really unbelievable? What's wrong if I got myself a blind date?" I asked him and raised my left brow at him. I really have no single clue on who the hell am I going to date with.

He just sighed and pursed his lips. He was about to laugh again but he stopped himself and decided to just speak.

"Do you have nothing to do in your life?" he shifted his position and looked at me as if I'm serious with this.

"I'm bored these days Lou. I now it's sort of a risk because I don't know who the hell I am dating," I sighed and smiled at him at the end.

"Well, thanks for informing me sweetie. You can't trust people these days. You're dating a stranger," he tries to mimic a gradma's voice and I internally laugh at that.

"Zayn had a blind date a few weeks ago. It was very successful." I stated at him.

I've been single for about 3 years already. I always got myself in situations like I'm going to decide to date this and love this person that I met or just get to know the person deeply or even have a fling with this person. Sometimes I'm really stupid and stuck when I make decisions about love. My patience isn't enough, that's why I spend my spare time on hanging out with girlies and go to the bar everynight and bring somebody home.

He chuckled at me amusedly. "I gotta tell, you've been using this app that Zayn's been busy frolicking with," he said.

"Yeah, he introduced me to that app. It's crazy though that he also got himself a random blind date and he ends up with a hot blonde chick and now they're officially together." I sighed as I clasped my hand and smiled tightly at him.

"Uh-huh. Zayn got totally lucky. He confessed to me that that was so far the best thing that happened to him. He thanked his lucky stars though, I know that sounded cheesy but he really said that to me." Louis said. I just nodded at him and I agreed on what he said. Indeed he's right. No wonder how Zayn ended up with that. The guy's just fortunate and smart when it comes to picking up girls.

He's even head over heels with his date that night. He was surprised because his blind date was a famous model. He got home with a smile crept on his face. I myself, is even happy for him.

"Zayn's just an expert when it comes to love. He's been to a lot," Louis continued and stretched his arms upward and yawned.

"And still, I can't believe that you explored and tried that dating app! You're crazy," he laughed at me. I just looked at him engrossedly.

"I was playing with it last night, so I just decided to try it and I registered myself on." I told him and he just raised his eyebrows.

"You really dared to try it. That's great." he sarcastically said at me and I chuckled.

"Hey, it's safe. I'm not signing myself up in a illuminati cult group page wherein they conduct ceremonies in a sewer. Calm your tits." I jested and he laughed slightly.
