What I see coming out of the bathroom is even weirder...

It was my friends, the ones I left in Los Angeles.

"Jesus kids. You scared the Cheezus out of me!" I say. They laugh. "So where's Jo?" I ask.

"He's a couple blocks away at another hotel. Probably bored because we took his phone." Jack replies, holding the phone up.

I snatched Jonah's phone out of Jack's hands and called their hotel.

"Hello, _______ Hotel. How may I help you?"

"Can you switch the phone so I can talk to room number... 83? Please?"

"Yes ma'am."

I wait a few minutes, someone answers the phone.

"Hello? Who is this?" He asks.

"Hey. I found your phone, and I don't know how to return it to you." I reply.

"I must have left my room key behind my case. Can you meet me at the capitol building in 15 minutes?" He asks.

"Uh, yeah. That sounds terrific. Bye."

*Jonah POV*

Great, now some girl has my phone. Why did this have to happen to me? I'm a nice guy... I mean I think I am.

I walk downstairs to the front desk and tell the person working there not to transfer calls to my room again.

When I walked outside people started laughing.

"I can't believe you did that Summer!" A male says.

"Well I mean he deserves it. Besides, it's not like he'll know its me before we meet up." A female replies.

"Let's just go before any clowns come out of the sewer. I'm not gonna mess with that." Another male says.

I start walking towards the voices, each getting louder the more steps I take. I realize I was already approaching the capitol building, so I run up to it the rest of the way and sit on the edge of a small platform.

"There he is." Someone whispers.

"H- hello?" I call. "If you're the girl that has my phone could you please return it? I really need it."

"Why do you really need it?" The female asks, but I have no idea where she is.

"Look, I really messed up. You see I was being stupid and I really love the girl that left me in Los Angeles. She's so amazing, talented, funny, and adorable. So can I please get my phone back?" I say.

Something taps my shoulders and then sits down beside me.

"Oh Jo. You're amazing too." A familiar voice says. "I guess we'll just have to go back home now."

"Summer?" I ask and turn to face the girl.

"Yep. Guess you really do feel sorry huh? I shouldn't have ran away from my problems." She replies.

"Let's go home then, shall we?" I say and stand up.

As we searched for flights to Los Angeles the lady says that there aren't any until next week. Disappointed, we go back to one hotel with all of our stuff.

"What if we take a flight to somewhere near Los Angles, and then we can drive?" Summer asks. "My friend Autumn, her dad owns a rental thing that has buses and vans."

"Do you have a friend named Winter too?" Jack asks.

"As a matter of fact I do." She replies, giving Jack the evil eye.
