sniffles could be heard through the other side of the door, worried, you barged into the room to see yoosung curled up in a corner of his bed.

"yoosung... what's wrong?"
you comforted him while holding onto his hand.

"they forgotten my birthday! how can they be so mean!"
he pointed towards his phone with no "happy birthday" messages from the others.

"i'll make today the best birthday you've ever had alright? Trust me."
yougave him a peck on his forehead before rushing into the kitchen.

with the best of your abilities, you tried to cook up lasagna for him and placed it carefully into the oven.

"it should be alright in there."

rushing back into the room, you pounced onto yoosung, attacking him with kisses.

"let's play LOLOL together, alright?"

yoosung's face lit up, nodding instantaneously.

after playing about 3 matches, you slammed the table, stood up and rushed out of the room.

yoosung called out your name nervously as he followed after you.

"oh no... it's burnt..." you stared at the now overcooked lasagna.

"i'm sorry yoosung, i wanted to make you feel better and all i did was make it even worse. your birthday is ruined because of me..." you sobbed.

to your surprise, yoosung took a big bite out of the burnt food.

"it's really good!" he exclaimed, stuffing himself with the food.

"you don't have to force yourself..."

"believe me! i'll eat your share if you don't want to!"

not long after eating, yoosung made a beeline towards the bathroom.

you knocked on the door,

"yoosung... are you alright?"

"yeah... hngh... i'm... f-fine."

"lets go to the clinic..."

"...a-alright."

yoosung walked out of the bathroom, pain evident on his face. he was uncomfortable every second.

"i told you not to force yourself... we should just order pizza."

"heheh... okay." he scratched the back of his forehead.

you sat with yoosung on the couch, watching a LOLOL gameplay online while waiting for your pizza order to arrive.

shortly after, your takeout arrived and as the two of you huddled up against each other with pizza on your hands, yoosung giggled,

"today is the best birthday ever. thank you, cutie."
