Dear Life, I need to escape!

Encre POV:
Before he can say anything else, I use my both hand to grab him by his shirt. I push him backwards, and then quickly pull him toward me. And swiftly strike with right of the crown of my skull. He step backwards and growled.

I rubbed my skull, it's painful to hit someone like that, but it's worth it.... Even if it's mean, have a bruise on your skull. And I take a chance to run away from the creep. But my heels and dress only slowing me down. So in half way of running, I took of my heels and throw it at the other direction I am going.

This place was huge! How many Hall's and rooms they have? Or am I running around circles? All the Hall's and rooms seem the same.

As I pass the next hall, I was meet by two more Hall's. One is brighter and the other was darker hall.

Tbh, if I was in a stranger house... I will chose the darker hall. Because, if there's light, there's someone. And sure, getting help from someone is a good idea. But, getting help from someone that obey or work with that creepy black boned skeleton is a bad idea.

I should avoid workers in this place. No one know, what will happen if I do...

So, like what I have planned... I run to the darker hall. It was more scary, Tbh. The lights is flickering like I am in a haunted house.... Some painting was either ripped or torn apart...... some furniture either has scratches, or broken.... the floor is dirty and some have holes.... the wooden floor is squeaking every time I took a step.

'This hall was some kind of poor rated or the Owner just doesn't care about his house...' I thought.

My running getting slower...

This hall is creeping, me out.....

Thinking of it, only make me think... "Why didn't I take the brighter side of the hall?". I thought.

Step by step that I took only make the wooden floor squeaking even louder.

This isn't what I wanted, I wanted to go home! I miss father and mother! I miss my kingdom! I miss my bedroom! And for once, I miss going to the boring meeting!

If I could, only turn back time... And NEVER went to the forest.

Sure, I love explore and adventure. But, this is not one of the adventure that I wanted.

What can I even do, in this place? Especially, when the owner wanted me as their personal maid. Being a maid, means to be inside this place not outside exploring.

I saw a shadow lurking in the shadows.

That's creepy...

"Hello, is someone there? Don't be scare... I won't hurt you." I said. And a figure stepping out of the shadow. It was a kid. They have orange hair, red eyes, and pale skin. They wear pale green shirt, black jeans, grey boots, and there's a heart locket on their neck. I smiled and said "Young Man, what are you doing in this dark place?". They raised a brow "shouldn't I be the one, who asking that question? Now, why are YOU in Lord Fallacy territory mortal?" They said.

"You're Lord bought me here, I think?" I said. Still unsure with my answer. They smirked. And wave their hand to me. "Don't fool me, mortal. Why even Lord Fallacy want a useless mortal anyway?" They said. "But, this is unexpected... This place is sorta pale too... How about we paint this place red with your beautiful blood." They continue to say.

My eyes widened... Can this get any worse?

Charlos POV:
Her eyes widened, and my smile widened. And when I blink my eyes..... They gone. Like vanished or something. How a mortal, escape that fast?

Encre POV:
I am glad, I am born as a fast runner. I took a chance to escape from that kid by the window. And here I am, praying for dear life to not end me. I was at the edge, in a high of 7th floor building. Hoping luck, to not slip.

This was the most unusual day, I ever experienced in my life.

This even make me think, 'does dear life hate me?' or 'dear life is try to messing with my life?'.

It's a good thing, I am not wearing heels! I probably slip by now if wearing heels.

I look at my left and right. There's a thick metal pipe in the corner of my left side. I slowly take step by step to the left said. My back was leaning the wall, my both hands was spread and touched to the wall. I slowly moving to the left. Praying not to slip. Or that will be the end of me.

As soon as I am near the pipe. I use my both hand grip those pipes and slowly climb down with that pipe. I end up in the 3rd floor, I saw an open window and climb in to the window. To saw a big fancy bedroom. And a painting of... 'Grumpy Peter?'

I saw a door, I slowly open the door and walk out. To meet a hall with many maid's dusting painting, and furniture.

I wanted to go back to the room I was in few mins ago. But, the maid's already saw me. And I froze at where I stand.

The gazelle maid smiled at me, "Morning, it's been a while since we have visitor." She said and bowed at me. And the others start to talk too.

And while they were talking, I walked pass them and started to run again. 'That was a success?' I thought. Disbelief at myself that plan has worked.

My legs feel weak... I been running all day. It's hurting me. But, I won't give up until I out from this place.

I saw stairs and I speed up to the stairs. Quickly run to search another stairs, and passed many halls. Some workers even saw me but they didn't have the chance to talk to me, since I keep running.

Finally I was at the first floor... Infront of me is a door to freedom. I grip the door handle. And froze when I felt a deadly aura behind me.

The atmosphere quickly drop, the temperature is cold...

I turn around to meet that kid, that giving me a deadly glare. If a glare can kill, I'll be dead right now. It's like, their glare can see through my soul.

"You're going no where..." They said. I smiled and said "are you sure?". I put my hand on my pocket and froze.' Where's my paint brush?' I thought.

I quickly thought an idea. A stupid one, tbh.....

I kneel down to their high. I use my both hand to grab them and stand up. "Hey, what's the big idea-" they said and was cut by me swinging them around and throw them like a ball. They soon hit the wall and fall face first to the floor. And sorta passed out. "Well, that was unexpected works..." I said and sweating.

I turn around and grip the door handle.

And before I could, finally be free....

Someone grip my shoulder and pinned me to the wall harsly.
