After the mother returned home, still bereaved over the untimely loss of her child, she locked herself in her room with scrapbook upon scrapbook of memories that once brought her great joy, but she finds that they bring her no comfort.

The agony it caused her was unbearable, she raised Tobin all by herself, despite the abhorrent way he came into this world.

She was only a sophomore in high school, when it happened: a young, beautiful and naïve girl, oblivious to the intent of a seemingly good and chivalrous art student. Until he revealed his true nature, by defiling her, robbing her of innocence and leaving her vulnerable. Another life now entwined with her own, and now, 16 years later her son is ripped from the world at the same age she was when he was brought into existence.

Bitter tears, ran down her face, staining and distorting the cheery scrapbook paper the pictures and their captions resided on.

"Why did this happen? Why." She choked out, make-up and torrents of tears rubbing down her face.
