Its been 2 months since I moved to this new school and 2 months since I enrolled in the SMROOKIES Programme.
I sat on my usual desk while my earphones were plugged in. Of course, Taylor Swift's song was playing randomly on my playlist.
I scrolled through my Instagram feeds and thought of posting something and I did. While I was typing on my phone, my desk mate (and unfortunately my programme mate), Chenle came to sat on his desk which was just beside me.
"Hey, Jacey! You're early again today," he said as he sat. After I done creating the caption for my post and posting it, I unplugged my earphones.
Even tho I'm not really that interested to be that 'friendly' but it isn't wrong for me to just listen and give small response. At least I ain't rude.
I can sense that Chenle was peeking on me as I tapped my phone.
"You have a social acc? Didn't knew you had one!" He said. I know that he wanted to see the post more clearly so I handed my phone to him.
He looked at me weirdly but grabbed my phone before I changed my mind.
"Wow, 700 likes in less that 3 minutes! Also, the pic is nice too! Guess Johnny hyung took it for you," he said as I saw his finger moved on the screen to my profile.

"WOW. You sure do have aesthetic photos and followers... Jeez, no wonder they kept on calling you the school's new ulzzang." He said as he scrolled my profile.
I scoffed as I heard that. The more ridiculous reason for people to be faking friendships with me.
"What? You don't believe me? Your whole instagram looks like it belongs to an idol, yet you haven't debut!" he said as he grabbed his phone and start typing on his. As I peeked, he was sending a request to follow my acc.
Well no duh. Mine was private.
Then he held mine again and approved/followed his acc.
"Now, were both following each other's account!" He gave me my phone as his profile was on the screen. I scrolled not for long and saw he has quite a rookie type of feed. He really need to step up his game in phototgraphy.
Then I heard a sigh and it came from him. I just ignored and continued on scrolling his feeds.
"Its been 2 months you're here with us, Jacq. Even tho it was hard to make you socialize with us but I guess this is the first time you ever gave me this much response," he said as I sense he was looking at me.
I just slumped in my sit and sighed too, "Its not that easy, you know."
And a silence followed. I looked at Chenle and he was giving that 'smilling-hope' to me.
