The wind was a gentle breeze,  picking up the leaves and swirling them around. The sun was barely up, casting an orange glow on the trees. I took another sip of coffee looking through the window. It's so beautiful I don't wanna look away, but I've gotta get ready. High school here I come....

I set down the empty mug on my dresser looking at myself in the mirror. Lifting my shirt I look at my chest. I knew I wouldn't just grow boobs over night but my B cups were still disappointing. I stand up as straight as I can taking in my 5 foot nothing height. Letting out a sigh I slouch my shoulders in defeat.

I'm so not ready for high school. I'm pail and covered in freckles, I have long brown hair that stops at the middle of my back. I look like a freakin nerd, I'm definitely bully bait. Brushing my hair I look at my clothes for the hundredth time. I went with a plain black tshirt, grey skinny jeans, and black and white converse shoes.

Satisfied with my outfit I grab my bag and head to the kitchen. I put my mug in the sink and grab an apple from the counter. I already know dad's still asleep and mom lives with her "new family". I haven't seen her since 3rd grade. I head to the door giving myself a mental pep talk, it's obviously the only encouragement I'll get today.

It's a short walk to my new school so I didn't have too much time to over think before I was walking into the court yard. I look around trying to find Hadley, my best friend since 1st grade, after looking for what felt like forever I felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around I barely got a chance to register it was Hadley before I was pulled into a bear hug. I start sputtering trying to get her hair out of my mouth, " Your killing me, leg go" I start laughing as she let's go. "I'm sorry Lexi, I just got so excited", she started giggling.

Hadley definitely fits into high school life. She's 5 foot 6 with super blonde hair that reaches her itty bitty waist. I was definitely jealous of her C cup boobs. She was wearing jean shorts that were almost against the dress code and a white blouse that was covered in ruffles.

I look at her shaking my head "You look amazing like always". Hadley puts her hands on my shoulders "Lexi, your are absolutely beautiful! Don't do this to yourself,  especially today." I knew I was being a downer and I didn't want to infect her with me mood. I linked my arm through hers, "come on, let's go find our lockers."
