Innocent Eyes

Chapter 6

The ride home was awkward as I stole side ways glances and him pretending not to notice. "Turn left", I point to the turn for my road accidentally brushing his arm. I shivered from the contact. I wasn't scared of him though. After he hit Micheal I can't help but to look at him in awe. I guess you could say he was my knight in shining armor.

I point to my driveway and he pulls in turning off the car. He gets out and comes around to open my door. "Thank you Jacob, for everything", I tell him looking into his beautiful eyes. It got harder to breath being this close to him. "No girl should ever be treated like that. I'm so sorry that happened", he said while moving my hair behind my ear. I look at my shoes before whispering, "my first date ever. What are the fucking odds?"

"That was your first date?" He asks sounding kinda stunned. My cheeks heat up in embarrassment. "Yup. And my first kiss. He ruined everything." I say while holding back tears. Jacob puts his finger under my chin so I would look him in the eyes."Maybe you'll allow me to to take you out? Help you forget those memories."

My mouth forms an "o" as I try to answer. I end up just nodding because I could barely breathe. Why does he make me so nervous? "See you later," he says with a wink before getting in his car and driving away. I watch him leave muttering under my breath. "Good job Lexi now he thinks your a fucking mute,"I say while stabbing the keys into the door and going inside.

After a hot shower I throw on some panties and a tank top before crawling under the covers. I turn off my lamp to go to sleep but sleep escapes me. All I can see are him insanely blue eyes. He's gotta be older than me for sure because he didn't look my age. Maybe 17 or 18. Wait how are we going to see each other? We never exchanged numbers..
