Tank Wars (Rwby- Yang x Nora)

Chapter 1: Festival

****Ozpin****

"Attention all Beacon students! Today is the first ability festival! Everyone please head down so we can assign opponents!"

"Its time! Its time its time its time!" Nora screeched jumping up and down, shaking Ren's arm.

"Yes yes we all know its time, Nora" Pyrrha chuckled. Nora let a big smile cross her face. She then drags the rest of team JNPR to the arena. The arena was huge. The battle grounds were makeshift and twisted positions easily. That was how they decided terrains. The crowd gathered in the stadium was just as massive. Professor Ozpin continues on to announce the teams.

"Todays set up is JNPR vs RWBY! chose your two players for each team to participate in battle!" Nora cheerfully volunteered herself, dragging Ren along with her. Team RWBY was still deciding.

"I think you and Blake should do it, Yang!" Ruby announced enthusiastically. "It'd be a great way to strengthen your bond."

"Alright fine. Blake, let's get going" Yang shrugged and walked off.

*****Ozpin****

"Welcome to the first Beacon Ability Battle! Today's opponents are Nora Valkyrie, Lie Ren from team JNPR, and Yang Xiaolong, Blake Belladonna from Team RWBY!"

The crowd cheers wildly. The 4 students stand side by side facing each other. Yang cracks her knuckles, Nora smiles from ear to ear, hammer in hand. Blake stretches her arms, and Ren grips his blades.

"3, 2, 1, BEGIN!" both teams quickly shift into action. Nora makes a run for the trees, Yang follows close behind. Blake and Ren are now going head to head, blades clanging together at each swipe. Ren shoots at her, Blake dodges these attacks by zigzagging up on the branches of trees. She then charges at Ren with everything she has. Ren pulls his blade to his chest in an attempt to block this attack. One slip of the foot on Ren's part sends both of them flying out of bounds.

"And just like that, Ms. Belladonna and Mr. Ren are both eliminated!" The crowd is ecstatic.

Yang is now scanning every area of the trees she can visibly see. She then hears a russle from a bush behind her and positions herself to charge a clean punch.

"SURPRISE!!!" Nora shouts as she emerges from a tall tree, swinging her hammer to Yang's abdomen. Yang shifts her arm in front of her, dodging the attack. she then sends a sharp punch into Nora's hammer, causing her to fly backwards into an electrical wire. The electricity flows within her. A smile crosses her face.

"Uh oh! What's this? Ms. Valkyrie's semblance has been activated! The electricity has jolted her strength!" Yang looks over to where Nora once was, but is no longer standing in disbelief.

"HAAAAAH!" Nora charges a heavy slam into Yang's torso. Yang grabbed Nora's leg, and they both flew out of bounds into the side of the arena.

Yang now on top of Nora, there lips almost touching, chuckles "Guess we tied. Literally."

Nora, trying to hide her blush, chuckles as well.

"Whats your name?" Yang asks, clearly not listening to the announcements nor the fact that they've met before.

"N-Nora Valkyrie. Remember?" Yang brings herself to her feet and walks out of the arena adjusting her left brace.

"Nora, huh?...Nora Valkyrie."
