Brooklyn and Kaitlynns POV We are visiting mother like normal, when we got to her room we were shocked at what we saw. She was looking much paler than when we visited yesterday, when we entered she looked at us with a sad smile. "Hi mother" we said together (something we do often), "Hi girls, how are you doing?" She asked. "Good mother!" We cheered childishly. She smiled at us then patted next to her for us to sit down. We did so curling up to her, and continued to tell her about our day. A little bit later we had to go home and make our dad dinner, before we left mother told us sternly "Rely on each other and you will survive.". After dad screamed at us for his meat being burnt, we went up to our room (the attic) and talked telepathically about how our mother might not live much longer (after changing into tank tops and sweats). We were broke out of talking to each other when we heard our father answering the phone, we knew by the way dad's voice wavered that something had happened to mom. When he hung up the phone then screamed "She can't be gone!!!!". We knew our fears were right our mother was gone.With that thought in mind we cried ourselves to sleep. Next morning We woke ourselves up to make dad breakfast. He slapped us for his eggs being over easy not scrambled. We quickly dressed upstairs then went to the park to talk about what we were going to do now. We came to the conclusion that we have to run away soon, but first we have to pack. After we ran home and made dad dinner we quickly started packing our belongings. We fell asleep with our plan to run away tomorrow.
