Thank you for having a peek at my first book, 'A Web of Lies'. I have a couple of chapters in progress so don't fret! More is on the way.
Errors: Because I am Australian, I will spell certain words differently to you Americans and what not (e.g colour vs color). Please do not point these out, I am already aware. If you find any grammar, actual spelling errors etc etc please do point them out to me so I can go in and fix them! I always appreciate constructive criticism so please do comment away your thoughts on my book! Not only will it help me improve my writing, but it will improve your reading experience as well.
Violent themes: This book will contain themes of violence, I will not hold back on gore. I enjoy writing in detail so it would be odd to do a scene of dead with just
'Tiriset was shot dead'
rather than
'The bay horse stumbled, his knees scrapping the ground. A figure raced forward and with a loud crack, a spear was thrust through Tiriset's skull, killing him instantly.'
If you do not wish to read this sort of thing, I implore that you do not continue through this book.
Romance: I leave this as a mystery.
Magic: Yes! There will be magic and swords and fantastical fantasy things! Be prepared for a little bit of wizardry my friends, its going to be a wild ride.
LGBTQ: There will be no themes of LGBTQ throughout this book, I do think it has a place at the moment. Perhaps in future books, but for now. I don't think there are any characters that would suit that sort of lifestyle.
