Emotions

Don't ever show your emotions,

I know I don't,

Sure I can "look" like I'm showing emotions,

Happy,

Sad,

Mad,

But you aren't looking into my eyes,

I show just pure emptiness,

If I ever show my emotions with my eyes that'd be the end of me,

You can't show that vulnerability to anyone,

Because then they can stomp all over you,

They've seen a side of you that nobody has seen before,

They WILL take advantage of you

And I won't let that happen to me

I just continue to show nothing,

The emptiness,

Like I'm already gone
