I had just moved with my little sister to Seoul from Gwangju, leaving our parents behind who couldn't quit their careers back there .

Back in Gwangju, I had a part time job (after quitting school for a few years) which was busking. I was a street dancer and often danced to random songs on the radio, while my sister didn't work and didn't go to school either, due to the "mental illness" she suffers from and constant bullying.

She has an illness where she starts imagining that she travels through time to different universes and other students often bullied her a lot.

And as her older brother, I always had to keep an eye on her so she sat aside me while I performed alone at the subway station and sometimes with a few pals of mine.

She also talks to herself sometimes, or yells suddenly out of the blue, or even starts crying without a reason. Not to mention her very hazy memory.

She barely went to school due to these issues. But for the last few years, she quit school along with me and all she had was a private tutor and homeschooling.

Enough talk of the past and let me tell you of the present.

So we moved here to Seoul so I can go to high school along with my sister as this will be her first year going to school in a very long while, and she was nervous as hell on the first  day when we were still home getting ready.

After both getting ready we finally left home and walked to school.

She walked a bit far ahead of a me..and she was looking at the ground.. I was too busy dialing my dad's number to tell him about my and Eunjin's first day.

And as my dad picked up, he wouldn't hang up, he kept talking and asking random questions and I had no attention paid to Eunjin but then I saw her looking up at the sky and crying loudly. I put down my phone without saying goodbye to my father and quickly ran to her and shut her mouth with my hand and wiped her tears with a napkin. "What an embarrassment" I said, disappointed..

"What an embarrassment" my big brother harshly said as I looked at him straight in the eyes, pulling back my tears that I shed for some reason and he wiped.. he was clearly embarrassed by my actions.

I stared at him nervously as he wiped my tears using a napkin he got out of his pocket.

"I-I am s-sor-ry." I mumbled with a low and cracked voice unsure if I was heard as I got no reaction back..

As me and my brother continued walking our path to school, I noticed a very familiar looking boy.

He wasn't a tall guy, not a short one either. He had brown hair and a great figure.

I carefully stared at him, sure that my brother didn't notice as the boy kept walking in front of us, through the road of cherry blossoms to school.

He was Walking Alone...
