Blair Trey
I woke up in the California King bed that my mom had bought me with my soon-to-be-step-father's money.
"Stupid Cole, been dating my mom for three years and you haven't even put a ring on it." I thought.
I got up and walked to my bathroom. I washed up and left to my room. I put on some navy blue skinny jeans and a random shirt. I pulled on my 'All I care about is pizza.' sweatshirt. I put on my converse and walked to the kitchen. I poured myself a bowl of cereal and ate it. I kissed Maria on the cheek and left.
"Bye Maria! Have a nice day!" I yelled. Maria nodded and continued to clean.
I walked down the street, hearing people's mom's yelling for them to wake up. I scoffed at them and continued walking. I walked out of the neighborhood and went to the convenience store.
"Hey Mark, I'll have the usual." I traded a dollar for a warm cup of French Vanilla. I walked out of the store and continued to school. Winston San and his twin sister Jennifer passed me, like they do every day. I finally got to school with ten minutes to spare. I went to my locker and put my things away. I decided to go to my first period, which is science. I walk down the hall, listening to We'll Be Alright by Tracie McCoy. I sat down at the back of the class and put my head down. About five minutes later the bell rings and teens start to file in.
"Today we're going to have a project. You'll have assigned partners. Once I say your name, you go to your partner. Jenny and Garrett, Jennifer and Edward, Madison and Isaac, Blair and Jason." I drowned out the rest of Mr. Weston's monotone voice. I looked over at Jason.
"I'm not going to freaking move so you better come over here." I thought.
Jason gathered his things and walked over to the desk next to mine. He plopped down and looked at me.
"So, what do you want to do?" he asked.
"You can choose, I'll do whatever I have too." I said quietly.
"Let's do the antibiotics. You can write out the factors and all that crap, and I'll do the coloring!" Jason finished with a smile. I nodded and opened up the textbook. Every once in a while I looked over at Jason to make sure that he was working, and every time he would look at the door as if he were waiting for something.
"Let's start packing up, I want the floor to be completely clean." I looked over at the clock, we had one minute.
"Stupid teacher, always making us clean up late." I thought sourly.
I stood by the door, waiting to be dismissed. The bell rang and every one ran out. I was the last one out. I walked up the stairs and into my math class. I sat in my assigned seat.
"We're practically college students. College students that have assigned seats." I thought. I absolutely hate Mrs. San. She's the devil. She's an extremely preppy and happy teacher, and gets mad every time we do anything wrong. Not to mention she's Winston and Jennifer's mom. I also hate Winston and Jennifer. They're everything I'm not. They're pretty, I'm not, they're happy, I'm not, they're loving and popular, I'm not. They're-
"Miss Blair, would you like to tell us what the answer is to number two?" Mrs. San asked in her high, preppy, happy voice. I looked lazily at the board.
"I got 4 for the y-intercept."
"Okay, please show us how you got your answer." Mrs. San resolved.
"You first write out the equation and put in the x and y and other stuff. " I said quietly. The whole class knows how to do this. It's literally 8th grade math. I put my head back down. I also hated this class. Not to brag but this was all easy stuff. When I went to the principal he said that there wasn't enough room for any more students to join. Like seriously, I bet people in Indiana could hear the bullshit.
