Alina and Evgenia is staring at the TV screen in a training room intensely, Alina hold her breath every once in a while. While Evgenia praying silenty, they continues to watch with the growing crowd.

They're watching Single Men Free Skating of Winter Olympic 2018. After the result come out the crowd scream with joy. Alina froze, suddenly she felt really relieved seeing her idol win the gold. Evgenia scream and hug Alina so tight.

Yes.. they are idolizing Yuzuru Hanyu.. The two times Olympic Gold Medalist

Everybody in the skating world could see how Evgenia like him more than friend even though she always deny it. Alina is 3 years younger than Evgenia, she is always looking at her highly as her senior.

Alina always watch Yuzu's performance and she love how he look so graceful on the ice. She still remember the first time they met... she is shaking, the real Yuzu is beyond her imagination. He is friendly, cute, and sometimes dorky.

"Hello, I'm Yuzuru"

"...I'm Alina..." she try to appear calm while her heart is ready to explode

"Nice to meet you Alina" he shake her hand

She treasured the pooh she got from him and even had a special place for it on her bedroom. Sometimes she deliberately show it on her live session or social media post to indirectly show that it's a special thing for her.

Evgenia is like a big sister to her, she loves her but also want to beat her in a competition. Their coach always seems to favour Evgenia, she tried her best but despite everything Evgenia is number one to everyone.

Evgenia get all the attention,

Evgenia get all the congratulatory message,

Evgenia get their coach acknowledgement,

Evgenia get everything...

It feels kinda suck, always hidden behind someone's shadow.

Alina do realize the weird relationship between Yuzu and Evgenia. When she ask for a pic with Yuzu -which Yuzu gladly do- she never thought he would make his pooh kiss Evgenia in front of her.

Pooh-san is a precious item to Yuzu. okay...sometimes he did make pooh-san punch people or kiss someone but never on the nose/lips. It happened so fast but she just can't erase it from her memory. The squealing Evgenia made, her blushing face, and Yuzu running to the backstage after the kiss. Leaving no room for question.

She never realize her feelings until that moment,

*Evgenia is so happy, shouldn't I be happy too?.... yes I should...*

she did smile and encourage Evgenia, but in reality Alina can't deny her heart is aching. She always thought her feelings for Yuzu is mere admiration but now she kinda wish the pooh kiss was directed toward her..

In a few days she and Evgenia will compete on the same level, both of them are Olympic athletes from Russia.

Evgenia is taking out her phone and looks like she's messaging someone with a bright smile on her face. Alina's curious so she decided to ask,

"what are you doing?"

"I'm texting Yuzu, I'm sure he didn't hold his phone so I'm gonna call him later but first I have to congratulate him"

"..Oh, okay please say congratulation from me"

She wish she also has his number but she isn't.

The crowd cheer with a deafening sound, the result has been decided. All her sweat and tears is not in vain. She has win the gold medal while Evgenia get silver. She has show it to the world, Russsia has Alina Zagitova, not only Evgenia Medvedeva.

At last she will be out of the shadows. She felt that If she could, she would jump around and dance but that would be improper as both of them are team mates.

But it seems the world isn't that kind...

With all the bashing and judgments

She is still stuck in the shadow

While Evgenia is still basked in the spotlight....
