Report on human behaviour: 'sayings'

Me and my crew have been studying the new crew and have found them saying some odd things. When they say something to one another they appear amused and when we ask what they are enjoying they claim it is 'an inside joke' (research into this)
However this only happens when the humans are close companions.
Additionally, one of the subjects was claiming loudly that she'd eaten 14 'cheese burgers' in less than 1 hour (Earth unit of time- about 2557 gthirgs) several of the subjects were impressed however they told the subject 'not to blow their trumpet'
A trumpet is a human music device.
Conclusion
We are still researching all these sayings. The humans are busing sayings all the time. We will ask about them. Expect an update later.
UPDATE ON REPORT
We have discovered that the sayings have meanings hidden! An inside joke is a joke that only certain people will understand and blowing your trumpet means that the person was boasting (claiming how amazing they are).
