"i think this is going to be your best birthday jade, we're both 19 now, we don't live with our parents, we have fake IDs" eva says, tugging at her best friends arm as they walk into the mall.
"are you hinting that we should go clubbing for my birthday?" jade smirks, liking that idea.
"well yeah, it'll be fun. we haven't been to a club in so long, the night will be memorable." they walk into h&m, looking at the leather section.
"so who would go with us? i already know harvey and luna will want to go. we need a big group so its fun" jade says, looking at a leather skirt. eva just shrugs and looks at the racks filled with leather skirts and leather tops.
"i don't think a lot of people will want to go considering it's last minute" jade nods in agreement and sighs.
"i just wanted a good birthday but it's kinda hard to do that when all your friends are busy. growing up is ugly" jade pouts, making eva laugh. "you just don't like that we can't hang out as much which i understand, there are days that im upset because everyone has meetings and im not busy so i want to hang out but the moment im bust, everyone is free"
"eva, can we go back to when we were 15 and 16? the only thing we were worried about back then was if vine 2 would ever come back, now we're always stressed and busy" the 2 girls look at each and let out loud sighs causing a brunette girl to turn around and roll her eyes at the 2 complaining girls.
"boo hoo, cry me a river. now can you guys shutup? im trying to shop in peace and quiet but all i hear is you two little girls complaining about growing up" they turn around and look at the girl.
"umm im sorry for missing when times were easy for us" eva says, slightly confused that the stranger is mad.
"just shut up. go home and rant, don't come to a store and cry about everything" the girl rolls her eyes before walking away.
"that was a mean girl" jade says, looking at the girl as she walks away. "why does she seem so familiar? i feel like i've seen her before" eva just shrugs, recognizing the girl as well but just shrugs it off.
"can we go eat? im not in the mood for shopping anymore" eva says, wanting to leave the store. jade agrees, walking towards the exit.

zach enters the living room, scoffing at christina and corbyn as they cuddle on the couch. "can you guys go to corbyns room to do this? us single people don't want to be reminded that we're alone" he says, turning on the tv. corbyn only smiles and squeezes christina tighter, causing her to squeal.
"this is ugly. i don't want to see lovey dovey couple things" jonah says, sitting on the loveseat. zach nods in agreement, looking at the movies netflix is recommending.
"hey, shut your mouth. distance is terrible so we take advantage of every second we're together" christina says, pecking corbyn cheek. they all look towards the door as they hear aspen, jack, and daniel enter, their hands filled with shopping bags
"aspen bought the whole mall practically" jack groans, dropping the bags. daniel tosses the bags he's holding onto the floor, sitting on the couch.
"you guys offered to help me" she says, sitting next to daniel. "also, why do people find the need to rant in public places? i was trying to shop but these 2 little girls kept whining about growing up. i kept hearing 'eva i don't want to grow up' and 'growing up is hard' i wanted to choke slam myself" zachs head snaps to aspen once he hears eva. he hasn't heard that name in a while. he still thinks about the girl from his dreams. he regrets not asking her for her number that day but he feels like it's a good things he never did. he would've been distracted, which is never good.
"aspen, sweetie you rant every single day so i dont understand why you're getting mad" jonah says, making jack laugh. aspen only rolls her eyes and picks at her acrylics.
"wait aspen you said eva?" christina asks, running her hands through corbyns hair. aspen nods, looking at her phone screen. "i follow an eva on instagram, she's funny. her name is like eva millard" zach looks at christina before going onto instagram, looking through who she follows. he sees evamiller and clicks on her account, eyes going wide. he clicks onto her pictures and smiles.
it's been so long since he's seen her smile, making him slightly emotional. he continues to smile at his phone, ignoring everyone. the guys look over at him, all confused.
"he's looking at a girls instagram" corbyn whispers, everyone nods, looking back at their phones.
"i found you baby" zach whispers to himself, not wanting to give up on eva again. he stares at her recent instagram post, his heart filled with joy.
