"So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your rover"
You were in a group of people who wanted to do fun things and go on adventures. You decided to join it after seeing the flier on a bulletin board outside your work.
Why were you in this uncomfortable position? First, let's go see what happened earlier today.
~·~
You walked into the recreational center at a shopping center in which your group would be meeting today.
You walked in and saw that you were the last one there. You took a seat as the founder of the group stood at the front of the room. "Hi, guys! I hope the past week has been good for you all! I'm just going to get straight to the point of what we are doing today. Since it's Friday, and none of you have work until Monday, we are taking the weekend to go on a camping trip!" He informed us enthusiastically. Some of the group looked excited, and some moaned and groaned in disappointment. You, on the other hand, were absolutely looking forward to it.
"So what I'm gonna have you do is take two hours to pack all the food and equipment you will need. You are not required to bring a tent, for we are just going to sleep in our vehicles. We'll see you soon I hope!" He says.
You, along with the rest of the group file out of the building to prepare for your very near future endeavors. You got an Uber to your house since your car was at the repair shop, and prepared everything you needed.
Water, food, phone, compass, flashlight, boy scout book, tablet, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, dry shampoo, comb, deodorant, and a small throw pillow. Since you had barely any space left for a blanket in your backpack, you simply got a thin wool blanket and stuffed it in the bag. You put on your hoodie and got yet another Uber to the recreational center.
You were quite early since you had only taken an hour to prepare and another 30 minutes altogether to go home and back. You decided to play on your phone until it was time for further instruction.

When people started arriving, you couldn't say you were pleased when a member of the group named Jackson sat at your table.
Jackson rested his face in his hands, elbows on the table, and flashed you a smile. You scowled at him and looked back at your phone. He pouted in response. He looked like he was about to say something, but the founder, let's call him Seokho walked into the room, chatter dying down.
"Okay, guys! So we are going to *insert mountain near you* for our trip! You will be put into pairs, one person who brought a vehicle and the other who did not. I will simply pick pairs at random. Zen and Jumin, Yoosung and Jaehee, Y/N and Jackson, Saeran and Saeyoung."
Ugh! I'm stuck with Jackson Wang. I wish we got to pick partners, I would've picked Saeyoung since he is hilarious and kind. But Jackson is just completely unbearable to be around! Let's just hope this goes well...
"Alright, guys! We will be driving in a line in order to stay in a group. We have multiple checkpoints to stop for restroom breaks and get food. I think that's about it! Let's go camping!" Seokho recites loudly. Everybody gets up and goes to their partner's car. SeokHo and his friend lead the caravan and the rest of the cars follow in suit.
(Arrival)
Once everybody arrived at the bottom of the mountain, Seokho signaled for everyone to get in a circle. "Okay you guys, I am going to give each group a map of the trails you can drive on and set camp at, the way you are supposed to be will be in colored marker. We will meet up here in the morning." He explained. "Wait so you're making us stay with our partner by ourselves?" Jaehee asks with an eyebrow raised. "This is a team-building activity, so I paired you with who you would least want to spend a night with. So in other words, yes." The group nodded in comprehension.
