~Nancy~ Hey, I had a great day today. I made cupcakes for my class with my BFF Kerry, and now I get to watch The Big Bang Theory! That may not seem like much to make a girl happy, but I'm a simple type of girl. ;) Anyways, ON WITH THE STORY!

Chapter 5:

Louis's Pov:

What? Who does this girl think she is?

She bought us for more money than 100 average people's salaries put together, shows us this enormously huge mansion that we're suppose to live in for 6 months, basically just gives us her servants, and then tells us to leave her the hell alone?!

What?

I looked around, and saw the other's expressions.

Zayn's was Are you kidding me?!

Harry's was This girl is weird, but still hot,

Liam's was We'll win her over soon,

and Niall was looking at a plate of food on the table next to the couch.

There was cherry tomatoes, celery, strawberries, carrots,... CARROTS!

I forgot about Olivia, and jumped on the table, grabbing all the carrots in the bowl.

"Carrots are mine!"

And Zayn, the closest to the bowl, began flinging cherry tomatoes at me.

"Hey! Stop wasting food! I'm hungry," Niall pouted.

We all laughed, breaking the awkward silence and the food fight began.

Olivia's Pov:

As I watched 2 Broke Girls on my 60' Toshiba 3D Flat Screen, I heard laughter coming from the main living room.

They must be having fun without me, I thought grimly.

What did I expect?

For them to come after me after the "Drama Queen" performance I put on?

Someone knocked on my door. "It's Fiona." "Come in."

Fiona stepped onto the dark blue carpet that covered my entire bedroom.

"Did you really have to invite those boys? They've only been here for half an hour, and they're already causing trouble for the maids and I."

I smiled, amused. "What are they doing?"

"They're having a food fight with the fruits and vegetables in the bowl downstairs. Do you know how hard it is to get rid of tomatoe stains? Also, what it is up with the brunette boy who keeps screaming I'm the king of carrots?"

I mentally facepalmed myself. That must be Louis, the boy wearing the shirt with carrots on it.

"Well, they must be having fun then, aren't they?" I smiled. \

Fiona sighs. "You should join them, Olivia." My face must have darkened at that, because Fiona got up to hug me.

"You've always shut yourself out when someone tries to be your friend. It's been like that ever since you were 10, and your mom left you."

That's right. My mother left me, so what? I'm guessing you want to know what happened? Fine.

When I was 10, my mother began acting very weird, sneaking around, skipping dinner, stuff like that. She was very beautiful, with a face and body any woman would die for.

My father loved her dearly, not for her beauty, but for her. Back then, my father was a simple elementary teacher.

My mother didn't have a job.

She was the type of person who wanted all the luxuries in the world, and was just too lazy to try to get it for herself.

I would wake up at 2 in the morning, listening to my parents fight about how much money she was wasting on makeup, spa treatments, etc.

The next day, she would get a small gift like a pretty dress, an expensive lip gloss, something like that from my Dad, and all would be forgotten.

I was only 10, but even I knew that my mother was running us broke.

That was when all the weirdness started.

It lasted for about 3 months, until one day, there was a 1/2 day at school, and I came home early.

My Dad was still at school, grading some tests and what not.

When I went into the kitchen, I heard giggling coming from Mom and Dad's bedroom.

I went to take a look.

Thankfully, the door was opened just a crack

. I looked through it, and saw my Mom, lying on the bed, kissing a man.

A man that was not my Father.

I ran quickly to my room, and the giggling stopped immediately.

The next thing I knew, my Mother came through the doors of my room, raised her hand, and slapped me-hard.

That was when I blacked out.

I woke up to screaming in the bedroom, but this time, there was throwing, crashing, and the sound of a zipper being zipped up.

I just sat in my room, looking up at the ceiling, until Dad, whose eyes were puffy, came in and hugged me tightly.

I knew what was happening.

I read enough romance books to know what was happening to my family.

My Mother had cheated, and she was leaving us forever.

Dad explained slowly and calmly to me, that Mom wanted different things and left with a rich man.

Today, I knew that my Mother was a whore, and left us for green paper.

6 years later, when I was 16, and now homeschooled, I heard a knock at the door.

My Dad opened the door, to a dirty woman who I vaguely recognized.

My Dad knew who she was immediatey, and before he could close the door, she stepped in, and looked around.

"Wow, you've really done well for yourself."

She said in a dry, raspy voice.

I immediately disliked her, recognizing the voice. I picked up the broom near the kitchen, and threatened to kick her out.

"Would you really throw out your dear old mother?"

Apparently, the old hag had heard of my Dad's success after she had left.

She had been dumped because the rich man she ran away with, cheated on her shamelessly, ironic, isn't it?

She cheated on Dad, with a man who cheated on her.

She came crawling back, begging for forgiveness.

Dad loved her, and he still did. But he was not stupid.

He did not take her back, did not give her a single thing, and dragged her out the door- literally.

As she was being dragged out, she screamed profanities at me, telling me I was a wretched child.

I had nightmares that night. We never saw her again, and ever since, I've never been able to trust anyone ever again.

Except my Dad and my boyfriend.

~Nancy~: Yeah, yeah, I know. This was kinda boring and emotional. I just wanted to explain why she didn't have a mother. It's just to let you know why she acts the way she does. Anywooo- BYE! VOMMENT! (Please? *Puppy dog face*)
