Christine POV:

"Father never plays with me. Doesn't he love me?" I walked over to Gustave and put an arm around him.

"Oh darling! Love's a curious hing. It often comes disguised. Look at love the wrong way, it goes unrecognized. So look with your heart, and not with your eyes. The heart understands, the heart never lies. Believe what it feels, and trust what it shows. Look with your heart, the heart always knows.

Love is not always beautiful," No, I thought, It's not, "But open your arms, and close your eyes tight. Look with your heart, and when it finds love, your heart will be right." Gustave put his head on my lap and closed his eyes.

"Learn from someone who knows, make sure you don't forget. Love you misunderstand is love that you'll regret..." I was singing about Erik, of course. I paused, unsure if I was able to go on. Gustave sat up and started to sing.

"Look with your heart, and not with your eyes. The heart can't be fooled," I cut in.

"The heart is too wise."

"Forget what you think."

"Ignore what you hear!" Yes, I should have ignored what I heard. Maybe then I wouldn't be married to Raoul. "Look with your heart, it always sees clear."

"Love is not always beautiful?" I shook my head.

"Not at the start. But open your arms, and close your eyes tight. Look with our heart, and when it finds love your heart will be right." I hugged him, and thought of his father.

Erik POV:

I had found the newspaper Giry had left on her desk. I couldn't believe that she was here. My Christine. Here at last. I knew I ha to find her. I knew the hotel she was staying in. I raced there and watched her from the balcony. She was hugging a boy. They stood up an she took him out of the room. She came back about ten minuets later, without the boy. A windup toy that I had given Fleck started to play. I frowned, thinking of that night, and sang in my head. Start a new life with me. Buy his freedom with your love. Refuse me and you send your lover to his death. This is the choice. This is the point of no return! She picked it up and sat it down on a chair. She started to walk towards me, and I made my grand entrance. I pushed the doors open and finally let her see me. I gazed upon her perfection and invountarly took a step foward. Then, unexpectly, she fainted. I ran to her and picked her up bridal style. I sat her in a chair, and sat on an ottoman. As I waited for her to wake up, I just looked at her. I reached out to touch her face, just as she woke up.
