Merida's POV

"Do you think this will work?", I asked my two besties. "Of course!", They took me to a famous salon to have a makeover. Hey, it could distract me from the pain! "Hello there! I'm Mavis, and I'll be your stylist!", A girl with short black hair said. She wore a black shirt and black pants. She smiled at me. "Mer, we'll just go shopping. We'll be back soon.", Elsa said. "Oh, okay." "Bye!". Well, I better say goodbye to my wild curls too. "Now let's start!", Mavis examined me. "First we'll make your hair less wild..." Oh my, please don't tell me you'll brush my hair...."Let's brush your hair before we start." Oh no. She started to brush my hair. "Ow, Ouch! Yeoow!", I yelped in pain. Brushing my hair wasn't such a good idea.."The brush broke! Oh well, let's just brush it after we straighten it. She straightened my hair then brushed it with another brush. It wasn't that painful this time. Then Mavis curled it. Again. What was she trying to do? Then she applied make-up on me. "Is make-up necessary?" "It adds up to your beauty!", Mavis replied cheerfully. Then I saw two familiar faces. Hiccup and Heather. They were going to the bakery shop just across the street. Oh no. They might see me! I looked away quickly. "Is there anything wrong?", Mavis asked. "Oh, uh..." "Is he your ex or something?" What?!? "Of course not! He's my best friend.....", my voice trailed off. "Is-is he the reason why you went here?", she said while applying some blush-on. "I-i don't wanna talk about it...." "Oh, okay then.", she put some lipstick on me. After that, she removed my pimples. That hurt. "It burns!" "Don't worry, it'll only last a minute!", luckily, the pain only lasted a moment. Then she taught me how to walk in high heels, manners, and more stuff. Wait a minute, this isn't part of being a stylist! What if...What if Punzie and Elsa paid her to do this so Hic will...maybe fall for me? Hey, if it's good looks he wants, he can have it. After hours of doing girly stuff, she finally pulled a full-length mirror and I took a look at my reflection. My hair was still curly but it wasn't that wild anymore. I was wearing a green sleeveless dress. I had a headband with a cute bear design on it. I was also wearing 2-inch heels. I was....pretty. There was only one thing I could say...."Wow."
