I came from the bottom truly.
Every night my dad would drink and beat my mom because every time she was paid she only was paid a small portion.

He beat her so much to where blood spread to my room floor.
It was quiet.
Oh no I started to panic.
I open the door only to see my mom layed out bleeding and not breathing.
My dad walked up saying she got what she deserved then told me to never speak of this ever again.
I walked to my room.
I gotta get out of here. Now that I'm 14 and in middle school he might think he can beat me specially because my mom won't be here to save me from him and taking my beatings for me.
I packed everything I needed into my duffle bag and checked to make sure my dad was sleep and jumped out of my window.
And headed to my friend James house.
