The rules of French are very easy, as long as you remember and follow these rule then french would be more natural to you.
1. Never pronounce the last consonant of a french word with the exceptions of l, f.
example: vous will be pronounced as vou, nous will be pronounced as nou.
2. All verbs have to be conjugated but two conjugated verbs cannot be in a sentence.
3. When a word ends with a consonant and the next word in the same sentence starts with a vowel, create a liason meaning pronounce the both words as a word. For example, vous etes will be pronounced as vozete.
4. For most plural nouns you add s to the end fleur- fleurs- flower.
5. Plural nouns that end with au take x.
6. Plural nouns that end with ou take s.
7. Nouns that end with s, x, or z don't change
