{McCree's pov.}

Soon I feel my head come closer to hers as we never lose our stare as I come closer and closer I feel her breath against my face...

And just as if it woke her up from a deep sleep as soon as my face got real close like that she blushed and looked away stepping back a bit.

"U-Umm... I should keep working on the Valkyrie wings..." She stutters I clear my throat a bit and put my hands behind my back kicking my boot slightly.

"Alright, then. I'll leave ya to it doc, I'm gonna hit the hay." I say she nods a bit swiping a lose strand of hair back behind her ear with a blush still dusting her checks.

"Okay. Goodnight, McCree." She says. I tip my hat to her before walking to the entrance of the lab. I stop on my way after putting my cigar back in my mouth looking back to her.

"Don't work to late, doc. Ya need sleep too." I say she smiles a bit.

"Verstanden. And maybe we could finish your check up later since you ran out on me last time." She says crossing her arms still smiling a bit. I smirk at her with a chuckle.

"Yeah, doubt that highly." I say she frowns a bit.

"Why can't you be reasonable?" She asks I smirk.

"I tried being reasonable, didn't take to it." I say with a wink before turning. "G'night, doc."

She sighs as I walk to the door.

"Goodnight, McCree."

[Timeskip to early in the morning]

I walked through the hall heading to the shooting range when I pass the lab. I peak in out of curiosity, what I find makes a smile.

There was the new medic in a chair with her head on her arms resting on a table, pencil still in hand.

I walk over to her and gently shake her shoulder she just hums in her sleep.

She's out like a light.

I then gently start to pull her up from her chair making her eyes start to open a bit.

"W-What?" She asks with a yawn.

"Shhh doc, I got ya. Go back to sleep." I say she lets her eye lids fall back closed as I take the pencil from her and place it down before whispering. "Alright, up ya go."

I lift her up into my arms carefully to to drop her.

Man, she's so light.

She rests her head on my chest letting me hold her sleeping form I stop for a bit looking down at her.

"She's so... never mind." I say to myself shaking my head before walking out of the lab.

I walk through the halls back to the sleeping quarters before heading to my room.

I swiftly open the door and walk in with her. I walk to my bed and gently lay her down on it. I sigh as I pull a blanket over her.

"I told you to get some sleep, doc. Looks like someone has to look after you too, huh?" I whisper as she hums in her sleep I chuckle quietly. "I'll take that as a yes."

I smile before turning and walking out of my room and shutting the door leaving her to get some rest.

I walk out of my room and down the halls on my way to the target range. When I get there I see Lena making me sigh as I step in.

She looks at me with a bit of a cocky smile crossing her arms as I stand in front of her. She looks up at me since I'm taller than her.

"Beat ya here. I knew you would wake up early trying to beat me here, but I still beat ya." She giggles poking my shoulder I huff slightly.

"I would have been here sooner, but I got distracted." I say she smiles.

"What? Did ya sleep in?" She asks I look to the side.

"Something like that." I say she giggles.

"Well, ya snooze ya lose. I get the training arena first today, now scoot." She says pushing me back slightly I sigh as I leave with a eye roll.

"This conversation ain't over." I say she laughs.

"Of course not, love. That would make things boring!" She says smiling before pushing out of the arena and closed the door.
