Before the whole swap thing happened with Joey, Jude would always try and 'train' his sister for any sort of alien invasion, often trying to get her to use stronger weapons or what to barrel roll into.
Bonus!: Even when Joey did land on Alternia, she kept some of her brothers things inside her head, just in case. :)
