the pain and agony of losing someone you love will always be there. it never goes away. people always tell you that it will, that in time you won't feel as bad but they lie.
i have lost every person i have ever loved. every family member died off, one by one. it was probably my fault. but it wasn't like i chose to live this life, i was born into it.

technically it was the gang that was coming after me that killed them but none the less they were coming after me.
i couldn't just lay around or even stay in the mansion anymore. it was empty and still stained with the blood of the ones i love.
my best friend, taehee wouldn't let me stay so she snatched me up and took me to her brother.
he was the leader of a smaller, but just as effective gang. lee taeyong.
she knew i would pass the evaluation and id instantly be initiated.
my strength was that i was always underestimated. no one ever expected me.
i looked small and dainty.
"so just remember, he's an annoying hard ass and he's gonna ask you a bunch of stupid ass questions" taehee explained as we neared the warehouse where her and the other members lived.
"wait, if i do get accepted where am i gonna room?" i asked, she stopped at the door and slapped her forehead lightly.
"shit, i didnt even think of that. im roomed with mark so i guess we'll just have to figure that out when the time comes" she said, leading me to taeyong.
"you mean, mark lee, as in your boyfriend?" i asked, my eyebrows raised. she just shrugged her shoulders and continued her way to her brothers office.
we passed several corridors and rooms. most of the people were in training and others were doing paper work.
we got to his door. she knocked three times before we heard his voice boom through the door, granting our access. she opened the door, looking back at me real quick. i nodded as we continued into the room.
"ah, taehee, whats up?" he questioned, looking up at her then back down at the large stack of papers on his desk. "wait, whos this?" his neck quickly snapping up, noticing my presence.
"it's nani, remember i told you that she was gonna be evaluated by you today" she said, shaking her head at her older sibling.
"oh shit, thats right. sorry, ive had a lot of work to do today" he said, stacking the papers together and sliding them to the side. "so you've been friends with my little sister for a while now?" he said, looking at me while he leaned back in his seat, propping his feet on the desk.
"about four years" i said, nodding.
"her family was the gang that just got shot up" taehee said, plopping down onto the couch across the room.
"damn tae, thanks for the sincerity" i shook my head.
"my bad unnie" she looked up at me. i nodded.
"anyways, youre gonna fight jaemin today if you can beat him then youre in" taeyong said, standing from his seat.
"oh come on, give her someone better than that, shes too old for jaemin" taehee protested, flying from the couch. she knew i would beat the kid in an instant.
"fine, lucas. if she beats lucas shes in" his long legs striding across the room to me. i moved out of his way.
"come on, lets get you to the training room" he left the room, taehee and i following behind. we went up three flights of stairs and ended up at a room on the left. taeyong busted open the door.
"lucas" his voice called out. everyone froze and looked in what i presume was lucas' direction.
"youre fighting" he said, nodding at the gear across the room.
"who am i fighting?" he asked, only seeing taehee and taeyong. "ive already fought shrimp over there" i chuckled at his nickname he had for taehee considering shes pretty tall.
"ya, watch out. youre fighting someone smaller" he stepped out of the way, showing me.
"youve got to be kidding me" lucas chuckled. taehee giggled.
"i wouldnt if i were you, shes gonna kick your ass in front of everyone" she spoke up smacking her hands together, then rubbing them. everyone laughed. i shook my head and headed to the gear. i got what i needed and dressed.
"alright, the rules, there are none. you just fight until one of you is down for more than five seconds" taeyong called as lucas and i stood across from each other.
"got it" i grumbled.
we slapped hands.
the whistle blew.
and i blacked out.
30 seconds later
the whistle blew again.
"Nani wins" i heard taeyongs voice yell over everyone cheering and making random noises.
"hell yeah, i told you" taehee said, grabbing the head gear i had on my head, slapping it lightly. i laughed. looking down i saw a very surprised and hurt lucas.
"no hard feelings" i said, stretching my hand out. he reached for it, grabbing and standing.
"i think im in love" he mumbled, his eyes still bulging out his head. taehee and i laughed as we walked away.
i took the gear off and put it back where it belonged.
"well that was quick" taeyong said as we reached him. i chuckled.
"i tried telling you" taehee said, shaking her head.
"alright well, welcome. we'll have a meeting tonight where you get introduced to the others" he said, a smile on his face as he left. probably going back to his office.
"we'll figure out where you're gonna room in a little bit" taehee said as we walked out into the corridor.
we walked downstairs and into the kitchen, taehee leaping onto the counter next to another male. there seems to be a lot of guys here.
"are there just guys that live here?" i asked bluntly. the boy next to her chuckling.
she shook her head, "i live here you dick"
"so in other words yes" the boy laughed making taehee slapping him across the shoulder.
"shut up jaemin" rolling her eyes and jumping from the counter.
"ahhh, so i was supposed to fight him" i mumbled as we left the kitchen.
"what?!" was all i heard before we headed back into the corridor.
"let's go to my room, mark will wanna see you and i don't think he's training right now" i followed her to a room that i presume was hers as she opened the door and yelled for mark.
"ya, why do you have to yell. i'm right here" he said, making a face of disgust.
i chuckled and shook my head at them.
"sup markie" i said, leaning on the door way.
"yoooo, what are you doing here" he said, sitting up as taehee sat herself against the boy.
"she's apart of the gang now, she fought lucas and won in 30 seconds flat" she explained.
"waaaahh, nice! you do know jaeno is gonna love her right" he said, his chin landing on top of taehee's head. she shook it and hummed.
"yeah, lucas already said he was in love" looking at me causing the both of us to laugh.
"this is gonna be fun" mark mumbled.
