Eleven

I ran like my whole life is dependent on this... but to be honest it actually did. I can't loose Soojin... my Soojin I JUST CAN'T!!!

i locked my house as i opened my phone to see the timing 12:20 was the time. it was noon. i unlocked my phone to call Soojin it was then when i noticed that today the temperature is low and it is gonna rain heavy!

"hello!" i heard a happy voice squeak through the other end.

"jinnie!!! you doing good?" i asked stopping and panting.

"am great jagi! but why are you panting?"

"nothing much... i will come over and speak"

"yahhh!!!" Soojin shouted at the other end.

"whats wrong?!?!?!?!"

"mouseeeee"

"idiot! you scared me ... i am coming"

i placed my phone in my pocket and started running again

is the mouse the serial killer?' were the wierd thoughts in my head right now but to be honest mice cannot kill... but they can eat... what if they eat Soojin up?? i need to get their fast i am going damn crazy!

i rang the bell as i my panting self took the support of the wall

"jungkookie!!" Soojin exclaimed as she saw me.

i hugged her as soon as our eyes met and she suddenly became worried.

"everything alright?" 

i shook my head using the entire power in the universe.

"whats wro-" i pulled her in cutting her off. i haven't spoken a single word since i have entered here.

i pushed her on the sofa sitting right beside her as i was still panting but managed to speak.

" listen you-you are the-"

"first breath then speak" she calmed me down because i was over panicked.

i breathed in releif and then started. i told the whole story to her. from uncle's house to the newspaper to the keychain and that she is the next victim.

"no!"she exclaimed with wide eyes covering her 'O' mouth. i nodded and then i suddenly thought of asking the question i wanted to.

"how did you write those stories?"

"i dreamt about them"

"really"

"yes i did and when i did i wrote them down and stocked them up and-" she trailed off and kept staring at some blank space. " i-i-i am scared" she shuttred' "but why me?"  she asked and i went blank , all blank......

I looked blankly at her as the world around me stopped... I wasn't able to think anything  right now! Nothing was moving... everything was silent all I could see was Soojin sitting in front of my eyes all scared and me having no answer to her questions.

"Soojin-" I grabbed her pinky finger according to my habit "you will be all fine"

"We will be all fine!" She said assuringly. She was scare but yet had the power to assure me that everything is all perfect.

I hugged her tightly as tears dropped down. Loosing hee would be my biggest loss and I can afford it.

I need to keep her safe

The only thought running in my mind  for now.

I gathered the plates as we finished eating already.

"Thanks" she slowly whispered.

"It's fine hunny cheer up!" I said but even I wasn't feeling cheered.

Don't think I never got the idea of taking her and running away safe. I did but she gave me a big no. She said she wanted to catch the criminal.

She called uncle and we made a plan which did include taehyung and jiminiepabo. She said me to be attentive like never before and keep eye on everything. When I feel something is not right I may call uncle so he could probably come here with his gang to crush up the Goddamn murderer.

"Its past 11 jinnie you better sleep" I said with an assuring smile but it turned into a scared one as the thunder growled.

Yes, it's raining heavily outside and it can't be ignored.

"Bu t my bed is undone-" " I will do your bed just be easy to go to sleep" I said as she gave me her cute lil smile.

I walked upstairs trying not to stumble ober the flower vase near her Staircase. I opened the door of her room and walked in. Her bed was really messy. She was a couch potato and probably liked messy room so now I am going to clean it for her.

I love cleaning to be honest ha!

I placed the pillow as the whole room was clean and tidy and done! The room is ready now and we are happy to sleep.

I turned around and like a clumsy man I am I stumbled on the bottle fallen right on floor.
I never knew what it was but who cares!

I kept the bottle on the table and the lights turned off!

"Kook!" I heard a screech as the clouds growled again.

I wanted to run down to Soojin but anything was barely visible. I blindly walked as I found the door knob. I twisted the door knob.

'Clink'

I heard the flower vase break.
