Cataclysm part 2

"My uncle Qrow once told me, Ruby life changes and friend's come and go and there are times they protect you, and in return you do the same. So, it looks like it's my time to protect the one's I care about."

After Ruby had witnessed what happened to Derek, her hidden power was unlocked as her eyes glowed a bright light as everything was consumed by the light after it was unleashed from Ruby, it took Shredder by surprise and didn't have time to react to what had just happened as the light consumed him.

"Wha......what the?" Leo asked. "What was that?"

Yang covered her eye's still as the light soon faded. "I don't know, but what every it was. Ruby triggered something hidden inside her, Donnie can you take Derek back to the lair?"

Donnie nods. "I can do that but, will you lot be okay without my help?"

"Go my son, we can handle it, Derek needs to recover after what happened." Splinter said.

Donnie took Derek from Yang as he put Derek onto his back and jumps off the roof top and past Casey. "Keep your guard up Casey, thing's got messy up there."

Casey noticed Derek's arm was missing as he gulped nervously. "I can see what you mean, looks like he need's a new arm, or is that possible?"

"Now's not the time Casey, but yes it will be possible." Donnie said as he went into the manhole.

Ruby's eyes glowed still as she glared at Shredder who was slowly standing up, Yang's eyes were still red as she stepped forward and next to Ruby. "Say how about team RWBY kick his metal butt?"

"I agree." Weiss said as she walked over with Blake. "Just say the word's Ruby and we'll take him down for what he's done."

Ruby looked at her team and back at Shredder. "Let me deal with him first girl's, I'm not going to hold back."

"You vermin, you dare strike the Shredder?" Shredder asked. "You will all taste pain and sorrow." He went to reach for the sword of Tengu but noticed it was gone. "What!"

"Looking for this ugly?" Mikey asked kicking the sword off the roof into the garbage truck. "Oops clumsy me."

Once Donnie took Derek back to the lair, he put him onto a table. April noticed and looked as she was shocked, she ran over to them and looked at the injury.

"What happened?" April asked. "Where did his......arm go?"

"Shredder that's what." Donnie said. "Cut it clean off with the sword of Tengu."

"Ouch." April said. "But what's going to happen?"

Donnie thinks as he looked around. "Hmm, well first I need to put a brace on the area, and I need to think of what else......unless."

April looks at the robot arm Donnie was making earlier and looked at him. "I can fix that puppy up and we can use that for Derek's new arm, it's the only option we have Donnie."

Donnie looked at the arm and sighs. "Yeah, let's get him fixed up then."

April nods as she goes find a brace to cover the wound Yang had covered with a piece of her skirt.

Donnie gets the extra part's and tools for April to use on fixing the robot arm, once April found a brace she handed it to Donnie. He then went over to Derek and took the cloth off and proceeded to put the brace over the area, April start's working on the arm to finish it up.

"And done." April said. "How's Derek by the way Donnie?"

"Still out cold, he lost a good amount of blood back there, but he should come to after a while, then once he's awake I'll explain to him what happened." Donnie said.
