Hey, guys so I was writing and I decided to hold events in the book a few weeks apart so I mad a part 2 to this chapter! Same notes as before! Enjoy! P.S this will be a super short chapter!
~Laurence's POV (Are you surprised XD)~
"We have to have y/n on the team!" I say once tryouts are over. I really think this team could use an amazing player like her. Also, it's time to have a new cute girl on the team.
"I agree!I have never seen a girl, let alone a freshman, play as amazing as her! I'd let her be starting varsity."
"Then it's settled, she's on the team!" I say. We all agreed and I went to go find y/n. I walk to the front of the school and see y/n sitting by the water fountain.
"Y/n!"
"H-hey Laurance whats up?"
~Y/n POV~
Really! Stuttering! Way to play it cool you, idiot.
"You made the team!" OMG, I MADE THE TEAM! I hug Laurance and he hugs back and chuckles.
"Congrats y/n" we break the hug and Laurance turns his face away. He looked a little red.
"Are you okay?" I ask trying to get him to face me.
"I-I'm fine but, can I walk you home?"
"Of course I don't live far from here," I say. We start to walk but it's quiet, but not an awkward type of quiet.
"So what caused you to move here?"
"I don't want to talk about it." We both stop in our tracks and he looked down at me.
"You can trust me okay?"
"My father was a cruel and disgusting man, he would abuse me mentally and physically. I was mainly alone but I had some friends, they called the cops and I came here. I was here during the summer a little bit but I wasn't allowed to go to the house I am at. I had to stay in the hospital and I got flown back over to pack my things and now I'm here." I began to tear up when Laurance pulled me into a hug.
"I'm so sorry to hear that but I promise no matter what I will always be here for you."
"Thanks, Laurance." We finally make it back to my house where I see Travis sitting on the couch.
"So Laurance huh?"Travis smirks and I blush a little bit.
"W-What?"
"OMG, you so like him it's so obvious!"
Do I like him even though I just met him? MAybe I mean he is really cute and soooo handsome, sweet, kind, charming, and amazing.
