Gothamie and C.E High are two public schools separated by a road trip of five hours. Grade nine, ten, eleven and twelve are freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior year respectively.
There are three streams you have to choose when the students get into the Junior year which continues in the Senior year. They are Commerce, Science (Biology with Math/ Informatics or C++ with Math) and Arts (History, Political Science, Geography etc.)
Amy got kicked out of the school in the first term of sophomore year and now she is going back to C.E High in the last (third) term/semester of junior year.
Her aunt (father's sister Rose) owns an orphanage in the town and Aunt Marry is Hailey's mom. There is no relation between Aunt Marry except the fact that Amy is her daughter's best friend. She just calls her Aunt because she likes the word Aunt with the name Marry.

The story line is a work of fiction and the characters are real except for some and they are Allen, Ileana, Chuck, Alex, Luke, Rita and Edith The real characters names are changed so don't go looking for them on Facebook or Twitter.
Hailey and Fiona are my two best friends in real life (of course I can't tell you guys their real names.)
The actors playing these characters somehow resemble the characters in the e-book probably because of their looks. (Example- Alia Bhatt has black colored hair and eyes and Hayley has the same.)
