It wasn't the worst pain I've endured but not the least either. I had just gotten out of school for the day. Heading towards my guardian's car, it set in. It wasn't stabbing, dull or aching. It was as if someone had slowly inserted a knife into your brain, making sure to push it into the path of least resistance. And left it there. As I'm writing this they are taking it out of the side of my head and pushing it into the back. This one hurts more. They have tweezers and are pulling at the gash in my head. I realize now, I'm in a Walmart parking lot. There are cars going by but no one is in them. No one is driving. They are faceless figures trying to live a normal life. One of them opens the truck of the car next to me. Completely faceless. I know they have a face, but it means nothing to me. We're all strangers in a strangers world.
