I sat in my chair. Last night I had a dream about a girl with brown hair who loved books. I felt weird, I felt almost enhanced by her presence. Crap, I'm in love! No I can't have feelings, They're weird and stupid. Plus who would love a beast like me. I still had hope maybe someone would love me. I went to my table where the rose was, grabbed the mirror and said "Show me the girl from my dreams."
I saw a blurry image of a young woman crying. I asked the mirror "Why is she crying?" It showed me a book was thrown into a fire. I felt bad for some reason. I carefully examined the book. Wait! I have that exact book! I smiled. I could make her happy by giving it to her. Wait, How would I even give it to her? I can't go into a village or town looking as ugly as I am. Maybe, I could pray. My Mother used to say, "Praying always helps in tough situations."

I couldn't have one of my servants take it to her. We were all turned into things. Lumìèr was a candle. Cogsworth is a clock. I'm a beast. She's a human. She'd be completely horrified. Maybe I could go into the village during the night.

"Master! Master we have a problem!"
"What!" I shouted
"Sorry Sir. It's just, A young woman has entered the castle!"
"What does she look like?"
"Brown hair. Why do you ask sir?"
"I'll be down in a minute."
"Ok.."

With that Lumìèr left my room. I grabbed the mirror and said "Show me the girl who's in my castle."
It showed a young woman who looked exactly like the girl in my dream. I smiled, This is my chance!
I quickly grabbed the book and raced downstairs, I put my cloak on so I wouldn't scare her. I saw a young girl lying by the fire, she was shivering.
"What are you doing in my castle!" I yelled.
She sat up.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean any harm sir."
"You..." My voice softened
"I'm sorry. I was so cold."
"It's ok. What is your name?"
"Belle."
"Hello Belle. Do you like books?"
"I love books but please sir come into the light."

I walked some what forward and handed her the book. She looked at my paws then she looked at me. Her face relaxed and, she ran into my chest.
"I'm sorry. You have my favorite book. Are you my prince? Have you come to save me from this awful world?"
"You're favorite book huh? It was mine when I was a child. My mother used to read to me all the time. Do you have any friends?"
"No, everyone in the village laughs at me for reading. They say that my nose is always stuck in a book. Then there's this one guy who keeps harassing me to marry him. He actually threw my copy of that book in a fire."
"Oh. Were you upset?"
"Yes, very. I cried over a book that I loved."
"Well you can have mine but..."
"Yes?"
"Please stay here. I don't have any friends. I won't laugh at you for reading."
"If I stay. Can we read together?"
"Of course!"

I took her to dinner that night, I asked her what her favorite meal was. I wanted to cook for her. She smiled a gorgeous smile. It practically lit up the entire room!
