Now, whoever made the jails made the bars far too wide apart. The flying squirrels glided out the windows, while the not flying/gliding creatures padded through the bars. They reported to Fluffball that the enemy was in Phalanx Formation. "Ah," he smiled. " My son's best position. I do know his weakness." Fluffball ordered his warriors that had horrible noses -some that couldn't even make out scents- to bring the sleeping flowers and set them behind the warriors, first taking out the archers and getting through.
Short watched his warriors lying around. " Those squirrel-brained..! " Short growled. " Squirrel-brained thugs! " He barked. Then they got up and running from sleep. Short realized this, watching the purple mist coming round, toward him. He put his claws over his nose and stomped on the plants. They oozed a tasty-smelling liquid that Short couldn't bear but lick. He fell asleep, into a good, long nap.
He woke up later, his warriors driving out enemies such as snakes, wolves, zebras, and leopards. Fluffball was one with the nature. His given nickname was 'Father Nature'. Short, forgetting to suit up, was wounded easily due to no armor and his short, thin fur. He was rushed to the medical camp where the medical helpers helped out. Sheep were the helpers, because their fur was good for cleaning wounds, and they were very talented.
Short woke up soon, having one of those blood tubes ( IVs, I think? ) plugged into his foreleg. He was feeling groggy, but soon recovered and ripped the tube away from him. He used his best armor. It was his Greek armor, to be exact.
Fluffball was already in the fight, only a few gashes and scratches that he bore. He dealt damage to only the bloodthirsty dogs, he welcomed the gentle, scared dogs and offered them hospitality. Now, he had only brought a sixth of Short's army, but one fourth of Fluffball's army was taken down. He had several sheep and cats taking the medical jobs, and some of his guests helped out. He was in need of warriors, and FAST.
