Chapter Three

At the end of day, Belle was in a hurry to get out of school. Her friends noticed what she was doing so they talked to her.

Alex: Hey Belle, why are you in such a hurry?
Belle: I just need to go
Patrick:are you going to work after class?
Belle: uhh yeah I'm sorry working tonight
Alex: hey why don't we hang out in the coffee shop where she works??
Daniel: yeah! I am totally craving for a frappe
Belle: you guys can't go!
Patrick: uh why?
Belle: because.... Its crowded and you guys won't get to relax there.
Alex: then will just order something real quick and we will go
Belle: guys please don't go to the shop now. It is just too crowded and noisy.
So you guys can come next time okay??
Alex: okay... Bye
Belle: bye guys!

Belle left school once she was done fixing her books in her bag. Her friends find it really suspicious. She wasn't always like that. So they have decided to follow her.

Alex: guys I think we should follow her.
Patrick: huh? Why?
Alex: I have a feeling that she's hiding something.
Daniel: hiding something? What could she possibly be hiding?
Alex: I don't know but I don't like this behavior she is showing. She is acting weird and very distant lately.
Patrick: maybe she is just busy with work. And maybe she has a lot in her mind.
Alex: if she has something in her mind she should tell us! We are her friends!
Patrick: okay okay chill alex... Let's go and follow her.

Alex, Patrick and Daniel went to the coffee shop and they were surprised because they did not see Belle. Not only that but the coffee shop is not crowded and its quite have a very relaxing atmosphere. So they were really worried. Why would belle lie to them? So they asked for the manager to ask if Belle will be in tonight.

Mr. Robert: Hello! How may I help you? Is there any problems?
Patrick: we just want to ask if belle will be in tonight. We are her friends.
Mr. Robert: Belle? Do you mean ms. Belle Collins??
Alex: yes Belle Collins
Mr. Robert: oh Belle doesn't go to work on fridays. every friday is her day off.
Daniel: really? So Alex, Patrick she never told you guys this??
Alex: no. Anyway sir thank you for your time.
Mr. Robert: Sure. just come talk to me if you guys still have any concern about your friend or about the shop okay??
Patrick: will do sir. Thank you very much!
Alex: she never told us that she doesn't work on fridays.
Daniel: since when did she started working here?
Patrick: since we started highscool
Daniel: why do you think she would not tell you guys about this?
Alex: we don't know but we need to find out.

They decided to visit Belles house. Maybe she just went home. She is not the type of person who just roams around places. So the three of them went to her house and Belle's uncle answered the door.

Uncle Steve: oh! Alex! Patrick! Its you guys! I haven't seen you in a while. Oh who is this with. you.
Daniel: hello sir! I'm Daniel smith and I am their new classmate.
Uncle steve: oh well its nice to meet you young man. Now why are you guys here? Are you visiting belle?
Patrick: yeah we just wanna hang out with her if that's okay.
Uncle Steve: that's just fine but she is not here right now. She must be at work. Did you visit the coffee shop.
Daniel: well....
Alex: well we didn't think of that! We will go There and visit Belle. Thank you so much sir!
Uncle Steve: oh Alex have you forgotten? You don't have to call me sir? You guys used to call me uncle remember?
Alex: oh right. Sorry its just been so long when we last visited.
Uncle Steve: its okay. But remember you guys can call me uncle because I consider you guys as family. You too son. You can call me uncle if thats okay with you? I mean you are friends with my granddaughter right?
Daniel: yes sir! Thank you for your time.
Uncle Steve: okay. You guys must visit more often. Its too quiet in the house and me and my wife miss you guys hanging out with Belle.
Alex: sure thing. Thanks uncle stave! See you next time.
Patrick: bye uncle!!
uncle steve: good bye kids.

As soon as Belle's uncle closed the door they all wondered where Belle could be. And Daniel was wondering why Alex didn't want to tell Belle's uncle that Belle has a day off today.

Daniel: Hey Alex!
Alex: yeah?
Daniel why did you not tell her uncle that Belle wasn't at work today?
Alex: I don't want uncle to worry. Because once he gets worried he can't sleep at night and it will just cause him stress..
Daniel: oh...
Patrick: uncle Steve is the type of person who easily gets worried when something bad happens.When we were kids I accidentally fell from my bike and uncle Steve can't stop asking me if I'm okay. He wanted to take me to the hospital. But I only had a few cuts so he made a big deal out of it.
Alex: he is a sweet person. I miss hanging out at belles house. Her uncle use to tell us stories and stuff.
Daniel: wow he sure sounds awesome.
Alex: he is. So we need to know where Belle is.
Daniel: have you guys trying to contact her?
Patrick: I texted her but she didn't reply.
Alex: maybe we should ask her tomorrow.
Pateick: yeah I think its better to speak to her in person.
Alex: I just hope she answers because I don't like it when she is hiding something from us.
