She sat in the coffee shop, her favorite place in the world. She found it while trying avoid her ex, he would never go into a place like this. To gloomy for him.

"Maria!" The barista shouted

Getting up to retrieve her drink

"Thank you."
She went back to her booth, trying to finish her research on Greek gods. What she found interesting was the god hades beautiful man probably the most honest of all gods but yet outcasted by the others. Hades was a faithful man to his wife Persephone, and she to him they ruled over the underworld happily together.
"Maria?" A familiar voice said
Mariah dreaded to look up from her laptop, in fact she refused to
"Maria I know you can hear me"
"What do you want Caleb?" She looked up questioning him
"What are you doing in here?"
"I came looking for you, I figured you would be in here. It's so gloomy it's exactly your scene, why do you like it here?"
She thought to herself "because you hate it"
Maria looked up at Caleb and looked into his eyes "Because before today you would never step foot in here, you wouldn't be caught dead in a place like this, to "goth" as you would put it. Right?" She closed her eyes so he wouldn't see her role them.
"I just want to talk.. your not still mad at me are you?"
"I don't know what do you think?"
"Come on I was drunk! You can't hold on to this.."
"I caught you in bed fucking my best friend,mid thrust, and all you did was smile at me and keep going. I think I can still be pissed off. Now why don't you do me a favor Caleb and fuck off"
Maria had gotten up and put her things away in her bag and walked past him with his mouth wide open trying to find words and left the cafe. "I can't believe this fucker" she thought as she got into her car and locked the door, because she knew he had a tendency to try and get in without her permission.
