Alex POV:

The worst thing about it is. You never know when it will happen. It can scare you, but relax you. Until you realize its too late.

"Dad, you can't leave me and Mommy, we need you!" I scream. He turns around to hit me again.

"Didn't I say shut your mouth, boy!?" He screams, as I hear my mother screaming for him to stop in the hazy background.

She pulls me closer, as my father leaves us to starve and die in this beat down, old house.

"Its OK Alex, its OK, baby," she cooes. I smile and lean into her embrace. When I pull away, its a sight I don't want to see. She's dead.

I pour my eyes out, grabbing and tightening my grip on her, hoping she would move, but to no avail.

I pull away again, only to see my cousin laying there.

"Peter?" I whisper to him, but no response. He isn't breathing. I shake him, no response.

No response.

He is dead, like Mommy, and everyone else soon to be.

I out my face in my hands, and sob uncontrollably. I feel a drop of water.

The hurricane. No! NO!

"ALEX! ALEX! Wake up!" I hear a voice say. My eyes shoot up. I flinch  and  jump back, result I fall to the floor.
