Growing Love

  The small blue haired boy admired his school's basketball team.  He tried out many times before as a 6th grader but never made it in.  Now as a 7th grader, with the older kids out, it was his best chance of finally being able to join something he longed for.

" okay. all you boys will play a 5 v 5 game.  We will all be watching you, to see which of you will be able to join our basketball team.  Or even the Generation of Miracles " a girl with pink hair said to all the boys trying out.

I have no chance. Kuroko thought as he got ready to play the match. I can't throw or shoot. I'm only good at passing...

As the other team mates sat down alongside the Generation of Miracles, the watched the match begin.  Kuroko used his passes as an advantage, having most players shocked at the sight they just saw. " Where did he come from!? " an 8th grade member asked. "beats me! " someone else answered.

At the end of the match,  the basketball players got together and talked on which members they want to recruit.

"Tetsuya Kuroko. " a small boy with red hair said. "we want you." now Akashi wasn't talking about joining only the basketball team, they wanted him as Phantom #6.  The one nobody sees coming.

  As games and practices went on, they used Kuroko as a bigger advantage to win.  The longer they played, the more Akashi found himself taking an interest into Kuroko.

What is love? How can a boy love another? These types of questions run through the redheads mind each and every time they have practice. Love is a strong passion for another.  Some like opposite genders while others don't.  As Akashi runs those two sentences through his head, the thought of Kuroko being the one he has a strong passion for, made the redhead blush ever so slightly.

"Eh?  What's this? Akachii is blushing? " The mimicking blonde asked in a teasing tone.  "Ryouta.  I suggest you more forget that I got you on this team, and I can easily get you off."  Akashi said in an unpleasant tone.  "Ehhhh?!  Akachii!  Don't be so mean! "  Kise said in a whining tone.  "eh.  Kise-Kun you got him to be so." Kuroko said in his normal soft tone. 

Oh Kuroko...  now your backing me up??    "just leave Akashi-Kun alone Kise-kun. " kuroko said.  Akashi just nodded.   They all went and practiced.

  After being on this team, I fell like I finally belong somewhere... without being a big outcast. Kuroko thought as he walked to practice.  Something...  no. Someone grabbed Kuroko's hand, pulling him away from the gym.  Right when he was about to scream, Akashi hugged him. "please don't scream..." he whispered into Kuroko's ear.

  "A-akashi kun...  are you okay? " Kuroko asked. he turned around in the redheads arms so he could see the others face.  "your face is all red..." Kuroko said. Sounding concerned.  He used one hand and touched your cheek.

  Akashi took this one opportunity to kiss Kuroko on the lips.  Of course Kuroko was surprised by what Akashi was doing.  So as a reaction his body went stiff,and his eyes were wide.  After a little while of Akashi kissing him, for about 5 seconds, Kuroko got used to it, he went into the kiss, kissing back, his body wasn't stiff and his eyes were closed.

  "nn..  Kuroko...  I love you." Akashi said through the kiss.  "Akashi-kun....  I love you too." Kuroko replied.  Akashi hugged Kuroko around the waist, Kuroko hugged Akashi around the neck.  They kissed and blushed together. Alone. Were nobody could find them, or see them, or even find out about them.

Both Akashi and Kuroko held the secret from their team until this years season was over.  When the team found out, Kise was laughing,  Aomine had his arm around Kise, showing that Akashi and Kuroko weren't the only ones, Midorima held hisnlucky frog and had more emotional reaction, Murasakibaru just ate a lollipop and patted Kuroko on the head.  The only person that wasn't so thrilled about the news was Mamoi.   Knowing that her chance of having Kuroko to herself was impossible.  But now having a ship happen right in front of her eyes.

My love for you Kuroko is strong. 

The thought of this had never happen before.

For you are, the first person I ever had a passion on.

Also the last.

Kuroko Tetsuya, you are my passion that keeps me alive. I love you for that.

Akashi-kun, if not for you I would have never been able to have my dream come true.

To play with The Generation of Miracles. To be one.

Akashi Seijuro, you are the reason I am here today.  The reason why I wake up with a smile on my face.  To live my dream, with the one I love.  Thank you Akashi-kun.  Together we will have our own little victories, because we are both happy. Together.

With those words, both Akashi Seijuro and Kuroko Tetsuya dated.  For as long as it could go until the day one proposed.

Akashi, standing in front of Kuroko bent down on one knee with his hands out holding a box and ring.  "Kuroko Tetsuya, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

  Without Kuroko saying yes, Akashi knew that was the answer.  Kuroko's eyes were red and puffy, from crying of joy as he admired the ring his beloved Akashi had given them.

With this ring.

I love thee.

From now to forever

my love for you will always grow.

With you by my side

my days will be happy and loving.

You gave me the life of a little baby boy.

Kuroko, if here right now, I hope you could see, that as your life ended, you helped give another.
