"Home. Finally home." Lloyd sighed as he fell onto his bed.

"Hey Lloyd your back!" Kai's voice rang out through the hall, bouncing off the wooden walls. "Want something to eat? Zane's cooking!"

"I am not getting up for another three years." Lloyd groaned into his pillow. "Bring it here please."

Jay walked in balancing a plate of meatballs for himself and a bowl of stew for Lloyd. "Here ya' go buddy."

He sat up brushing blonde hair from his bruised face. "Thanks Jay." Up closer Jay noticed that Lloyd's voice was hoarse and filled with pain.

"You look terrible." Cole stood in the doorway with a bag of ice. "Thought you might need this." He passed Lloyd the ice and spun around on his heels. "Oh, and this." He chucked something over his shoulder and it landed on the bed next to Lloyd. A chocolate bar.

"You guys are the best." Lloyd chuckled.

"Yeah. You look out for us but who's lookin' out for you? Huh hotshot?" Kai appeared next to jay dressed in a red hoodie and jeans. "Here I got you a fresh pair of clothes."

He chucked a pair of trousers and a short sleeved green tee at Lloyd then strolled away whistling chirpily. "Thanks Kai."

Jay stabbed at a meatball. 'I'll leave you to rest."

Lloyd nodded and tore open the chocolate, greedily wolfing down the sweet candy. His room was relatively neat with weapons placed safely on the walls. Mostly katanas and small swords. He yawned and scooped up the stew within minutes. He stared at the door arch way a long Chinese dragon wound its way around the door frame. Since he'd been in the room he swore it had moved. Shrugging off the weird feeling he turned his head to his empty bowl of stew as he failed to scoop up another spoonful.

"Ah well, time to get up." He moaned and stood up to get changed.

Lloyd emerged from the bathroom golden hair framing his emerald eyes. Feeling ultimately refreshed Lloyd turned to look at the doorway. Again the dragon had moved; this time noticeably. It wasn't there!

"Hey Lloyd, I need your help!" Kai yelled from his own quarters. Lloyd sighed as he pushed open the door to find Kai holding a shirt in each hand. "I'm going on a date with Skylor which shirt is better?"

Lloyd shook his head and turned around to go back to his dorm. "Get Jay or Cole to help you I'm going to bed."

"But Jay and Cole aren't-" Kai stopped abruptly as he looked up at Lloyd. "Uh, did you add that symbol on your back?"

"What symbol?" Lloyd glanced over his shoulder and froze as he saw the strange golden symbol on the back of his shirt in Kai's mirror. "No I didn't add that. Though it looks like that small dragon that was wound around my door frame."

"I am afraid to tell you there is no such looking symbol or creature in Ninjago or any of the sixteen realms Lloyd." Zane studied the symbol as Lloyd stood stock still. "Pixal can you analyse it?"

Pixal's voice crackled over Zane's speakers. "I have tried to but there is nothing like it anywhere on anything. I have asked Misako about it but she knows nothing. It does not exist in our realm. Or any other realm, it does not compute. But it is similar to the twelfth realm's symbol for protection."

"What so someone has branded Lloyd with a protection symbol?" Kai asked awkwardly.

"I wouldn't say branded more like marked, cautioned or warned. But that doesn't sound much better does it?" A voice echoed around the room and a silver scaled creature sat atop the bookshelf. "Kai, the fire ninja. Hot headed and easily irritated but a loyal friend and teammate. Reminds me of someone else I know."

Nya edged closer to Jay. "What is it?"

"It is a dragon. A Silver Wing to be precise. And you two are Nya, the water ninja and Jay, the lightning ninja. Nya sometimes a kind and caring friend and sometimes a rude and stubborn young lady. Also reminds me of someone else I know. Jay the caring but nervous teammate who can talk any persons ears off." The dragon sank to the ground gracefully, he stood in front of Nya and Jay silently judging them with emerald eyes.

"What's your name? Where'd you come from? Where does the symbol come from?" Zane stepped closer to Lloyd pointing out the golden symbol.

"Zane, the ice ninja. Always wanting to know everything, but all in all a great friend and powerful ally." The dragon then bowed deeply. "But where are my manners? I am Caspian, from the universe of silver realms. I am here to help you and protect Lloyd. That symbol is from my home world, Fyenhiem."

"What are your scales made of?" Cole shuffled closer cautiously prodding the silver beast's scales.

"Cole, earth ninja. Hard as rock and tough as stone." Caspian chuckled and pulled his head higher into the air making a perfect arch with his neck. "Try using one of your earth punches. I bet you it won't hurt me."

"Alright." Cole backed up then ran at Caspian raising his right arm high above his head. He brang his fist down hard on the dragon's scaled shoulder. A cloud of silvery smoke consumed them and Cole's scream of pain erupted high above all the other mystified murmuring. The smoke cleared and Cole was rolling on the ground holding his clenched fist, tears streaming down his face. Caspian stood unmoved and unharmed, the rest of the ninja stared in awe.

"Star Silver. That's what my scales are made of, it's an impenetrable metal that is better known as Sukida in the Silver realms." He pressed his snout against Cole's injured, misshaped hand and within seconds it had returned to its normal state. Cole's cries of pain stopped and he sat up testing the movement of his fingers and hand. "Wow"

Caspian's head shot up his green eyes wide and alert. "Duck!"
