About 2 hours and at least 20 bags later we left the mall. But apparently we are stopping at one last place before we head home and change for dinner.
It took us about 30 minutes before we arrived to a.... animal shelter?
"Ethan?"
"Ya"
"An animal shelter!" I ask not believing we are here.
"Ya"
"Oh.... Why." I say looking over at him while raising my eyebrows
"You said before you wanted a dog, and since its valentines day I thought I would get you one. This also was not the last stop, we still have to go to petsmart and or target"
"Wait really. Like you not kidding. Your like for real getting me a dog?" I ask. I have always wanted a dog. I have never had one, because my mom was allergic. But now I'm getting one, like I'm hyperventilating.
"Ya WE at actually getting a dog. But it mostly will be for you." He tells me while we get out of the car and onto the sidewalk.
"Omg, I'm so excited. I hope there cute. What if they don't like me." I stop walking and start realizing that the dogs could hate me.
"Babe calm down. They will like you. Come on lets go get a dog!" He says while pulling open the doors to a room full of barking.
I'm quiet on the outside, but screaming on the inside. We walk around the shelter looking at the dogs, stopping petting them. But then I see the perfect puppy and know I have to have that one.
"Ethan, omg look that this one!" I say while running over to the cage.
"Its cute. Is that the one you want?" He asks while the puppy comes over to me and licks my fingers through the cage.
"Yes!" I say while the puppy starts wagging its tail. Ethan gets a worker to come over and unlock the cage and tell us about the dog.
"Adorable isnt he." She says while unlocking the cage.
"He is cute." Ethan says while squating down next to me as the puppy runs over to me and starts climbing on my lap. "Is this the one you want baby?" He asks me while he is petting the puppy on my lap.
"Yes, He's perfect." I say while standing u with the puppy in my arms.
"Alright lets go fill out the paperwork." The lady says
"He's so cute!"
"Ya he is." Ethan says while rubbing behind the little puppys ears.
About 30 minutes later and alot of paperwork later the puppy became ours. \
"Next is petsma.."
*wooff*
"Vocial little thing." He says while the puppy lays down on my lap as we drive to petsmart.
"Ya he is." I say while looking down at the black and white husky puppy. I cant believe he is my puppy.
We pull into petsmart and start headin inside with the puppy still in my arms. Ethan grabs a shopping cart and i put the puppy in it as he pushes the cart inside.
"I still cat believe you got me a puppy." I say while clapping my hands together.
"Well believe it."
"Alrigh the first thing we are going to need is leash and collar."
"Alright"
We walk into the section for collars and leashes.
