Part I
♧
“Did you get that file, June?” Harry asked into the phone which was currently against your right ear, supported by your corresponding shoulder. You hummed in response as you folded the last two piece of clothings and kept them in the bag.
“Don't “hmm” me grimp! Those files are important.” He dead panned and you playfully shook your head at the nickname given by him as you zipped the bag, “Have you taken your passport? Visa?”
“Already kept them in my duffle bag.” You took your luggage bag along with your duffle bag down to the living room after switching off all the lights on the floor. The phone was in your hand, now.
“Did you lock the back door?”
“Uh, I have yet to settle the kitchen. So back door is still open. I've closed it, yeah, but will lock it when I leave the house.” You tiptoed round your open kitchen platform and switched off the fridge after checking if everything was taken out or not. It was done.
“And grimp, don't forget my flip flops. I forgot those—”
There goes a chuckle, “Yeah, I know Harry. You already told me that on our Skype earlier. I've packed them along with mine—and stop calling me grimp.” He laughed.
You turned to complete remaining quirks left to do in the kitchen while talking to Harry, “And uh, listen, today I had a call from Gem. Told me she'd be visiting us at the studio—she'd be in town.”
“What? Why studio? She never told me about that. Better call her after this.” He muttered.
You laughed, “It's fine H. I already texted her. Plus you're in London right now and she's in Australia for her campaign. It'll be half past midnight for them.”
He hummed in response while you finished with the kitchen and locked the back door, just as Harry had requested before. “Back door is locked. Anything else?”
He thought for a moment. “Gas line?”
“Done.”
“Fridge? Geysers of both the bathrooms upstairs?”
“Just switched it off right now. And it's almost summer H, nobody uses a Geyser. But already checked them, they're off.”
