Love In a Nutshell

I Shall Not

I shall not try.
I shall not think.
I shall not cry.
I shall not sink.
I shall not love.
My heart deserves not to be broken.
Please let me sleep, I don't want to be woken.
I shall not love.
It's not like I could ever anyways.
It comes with a cost that brings sorrow to my days.
I shall not love.
Or I will end up melancholy in a bronze grave,
With someone to call my own I crave.
I shall not love.
Neither this shall I hope,
Or my neck would end up with a necklace of rope.
I shall not love.
Not enough am I stable,
Because I can see myself shocked with a cable.
I shall not love.
Or a path of death would shine,
As I walk towards a "R.I.P." sign.
I shall not love.
My heart isn't ready,
for the pain.
To me,
that's love in a nutshell.

     (A/N) By now, you are probably worried sick that I am talking about me. Well, I'm not. It's called poetry, look it up. ;))))) There will be more parts to this, also.
