I came back from my errands and Sophie wasn't there. The Orb of Darkness was gone.
It didn't look like someone broke in, so
I went to the fourth floor and opened the doors.
"Pretty...is Sophie still in Anthyssiea?" She turned her head.
"Yes, why? You didn't lose her did you?" The cold stare she gave me, almost made me wish I was dead.
"I'll find her." I ran out the room. The doors closed behind me.
"ARTHOUR!!!" Pretty's voice was so loud my ears popped.
I made it to the front of the Main Hall.
"Oh. Why hello my love. Did you miss me?" I know that voice. The turned around. Dark Queen.
"No." I glared at her. It seemed like she choked on air.
"Oh. Um well I know you will love my little guest. Meet my little friend. Dark Princess. And yes, I named her after me. Hahahaha."
I just gave her a blank look. I don't have time to play her little games.
Dark Queen moved out of the way and a girl was there...with blue hair.
The black dress somewhat matched Dark Queen's dress. The crown Sophie had on was only at the sides of her head. The crown was spiked just like the Dark Queen's crown.
"Give me back Sophie!"
"Oh. You mean Dark Princess. Never."
"Stop calling her that dumbass name."
"Hmm! It's not dumb. It took a lot to make her this name. Who would name their child Sophie?"
I was not in the mood for messing around.
"I don't want to fight you. Give her back!"
"Oh. Never! Do your thing." She pointed at me. Sophie came at me at light speed. I didn't want to hurt Sophie. I feel bad for her. She so innocent. Well not all innocent but she doesn't deserve this.
I used my lighting attack to paralyzed her. She feel to the ground.
"Oh no. Get back up!" The Dark Queen gritted her teeth.
I got up to her. She was still paralyzed. I don't know how to reverse the effect.
"Arthour, I trusted you with this girl. But this is to far." I looked at Pretty. If we can't do something about this, I'm going to be dead. I gulped and said the first thing that came in mind.
"She's not dead!" Her glare was chocking me.
We both looked at Dark Queen, she was still acting like a child. We took the upper hand and went back to the Main Hall.
Doc was already there. She looked at Sophie. She told use to get out. Me and the other three walked out of the room. Flashes of light crept through the cracks of the door. I was nervous. I could feel Pretty's eyes on me. The heat was intense. It was hard to breathe. Finally the doors fell open. I was hoping she was ok.
"Everything went well." She walked out holding Sophie in one hand and the orb in the other.
"You take your girlfriend and I'm running tests on this thing. I'll update you shortly." With that she gave me Sophie and walked out.
Pretty looked at me.
"I'm very busy and don't have time to put up with your games. If this happens again you'll be sorry." She signed the others to come in and close the doors.
I was just standing there with Sophie in my arms. She looks so peaceful sleeping. I walked down stairs back to my room. I layed her down on my bed. The feeling, her feeling was cold. Her skin could freeze fire itself. She looked paler than before. I layed next to her. Our breathing filled the room. Nothing else can be heard.
Should I call her my girlfriend now? Even Doc said so.
Sophie is different. I get this tingling feeling when I'm around her. I don't like her but she's obsessed with me. Should I play her game? Or should I just let it play out?
I wrapped my arms around her. Her cold skin felt nice against my body.
I don't know this feeling. Maybe I do like her. But I don't.
I don't want to think about this all night. I closed my eyes.
Everything went dark. Nothing to be seen.
