chapter 2- the party

one summers evening Jake was walking home from school while listening  to music he passed a care home pulled his earphone out of his ear and heard screaming as if someone was in trouble he stooped and looked around for a few seconds  seen nothing and walked on and thought nothing of it just some kids playing. he went home and nobody was in because they had set off to a party as he was a little late Jake went straight  up the stairs got his costume on and called himself pie man. next he went dawn the stairs picked up the present  and started walking to the place where the party is on the way he passed the care home again and heard the same screaming this time never walked passed he took a look inside but seen someone he knew stopped and talked for a few minuets  before  he knew it he was in her flat having a cup of coffee  30 minuets had passed and he started to smell some burning he sounded the nearest alarm and when to have a look what was going on  while everyone was going outside. there was one old man that couldn't walk that everyone was looking for outside and no were to be seen
