It was my friend C.C.'s nasty nineteenth birthday party. He planned it for weeks, said almost 100 people would show up, never had I seen him so excited. I had to work that night but I was off at 10pm so I'd make it to the party only a hour late. My co-worker and bestie, Tiffany, is coming with me and then were picking up another friend on the way, Harley, if she'd answer her phone. All Tiff and I could talk about is what we'd do at the party, drinking, smoking, beer pong, and everything else, and when the clock hit 10pm we rushed to my house to get fully ready. We never got an answer from Harley so after we got done with hair and makeup off to the party we went. Blasting Maroon 5 and driving 10mph over the speed limit all the way down the back roads to C.C.'s house.
As we arrived Jenny, C.C.'s older sister, showed us where to park. As we walked to the house we could tell at least 50 or 60 people were already here and we only knew maybe 10 of them. Collins and Zayn were the first to come say hello and behind them I saw Dusty, Drake, Ash, Ed, Brown and of course C.C. was here, along with tons of others I didn't know. I even saw that Dusty brought out his two, five month old, husky's to the party and they couldn't be any cuter. Usually being around this many people would have made me very shy and my anxiety soar but Collins and Zayn had a bong with some bud and with a couple hits Tiff and I both were feeling good.
As more people showed up Brown went and brought his truck over to the party area and he showed everyone what he hooked up on the back. Tiff hopped right up and help him demonstrate the nice tall stripper pole he rigged up. Blasting trap music, a couple gulps of beer and Tiff showed us how fit she was. Guys mouths dropping, and girls cheering her on till the song ended and she got off to drink her beer. More and more people went up and when the guys got drunk it became a show.
Later than night as beer pong was played and blunts were pasted, Tiff and I made our zig-zag way to the bathroom. As we were coming out of the house C.C. was moving his truck so we could put Dusty's truck, which has better bass and sound, in the drive way. Without thinking he started backing out, then a loud, ear bleeding screech was made and one of the husky pups was crushed right before Tiff's and mine eyes.
He started running around, howling in pain till Dusty, Ed and Drake came running from behind the house to try and catch him. Drake finally was able to grab the pup and calm him down. As tears flow from my face I can hear them say "it's just his back leg" and "he'll be fine" but it just got worst. Within' seconds the pup started bleeding from the mouth and was breathing heavy, his ribs stabbed his lung and had internal bleeding . Dusty was wanting to take him to an animal hospital but the closest was forty-five minutes away and he wouldn't even make it to the end of the drive way. As Dusty hugged his dying pup, the brother husky came up and laid beside his hurt brother. Ed was shaking as he said, "we need to put him out of his misery, I have my gun."
Dusty picked up the hurt pup, Ed grabbed his shot gun out of his truck and Drake ran to get a shovel. Tiff and I stayed near the house and held on to the brother pup so he wouldn't run to where their shooting his brother. Just holding the pup was a struggle, he cried, whimpered and finally just laid down in my lap. Some people left but a lot were still here, it was quiet and everyone waited for the shot to go off. As we waited, Tiff looked at me and said ,"can we leave once they get back?" Of course I said yes but that wasn't the end to this terrible night.
As they three guys came out of the woods I don't think I've ever seen men cry like this. Hugging them bye and telling them its okay. Some random guy wanted to say "its just a dog, what's the big deal?" but Drake, who was a tall, skinny guy, wouldn't take that, he walked over their and I couldn't hear what he said but it made the guy swing. The guy missed, Drake went to hit back and another guy jumped in a fought him. Soon a whole fight broke out and I was ready to leave. Tiff and I both wanted to leave but the fights were near the vehicle and had to wait for a good time to sneak over without someone trying to fight us!
As the fights moved to the house we snuck around, hopped in my car and left. As I was driving I realized the alcohol wasn't out of my system just yet so Tiff and I switched places. As we pulled up to my house and got up the stairs we got a text saying we left just in time. Tasers, knives and a gun was brought out for the fights. We sat on my bed and waited until Dusty texted us saying him and all of our friends were okay then we passed out. Lucky no one was hurt that night but it was one of the worst birthday parties I've been to but it made one hell of a story.
