Revelations
Most people who worked at Odd squad would describe Agent Olympia as a sweet, lovable, bubbly Chatter-box and she was. But even though most people figured that they knew everything about her that there was to know, because, she was always talking and she didn't seem to keep secrets very well, appearances can be deceiving.
The day that Ms. O and Otis Discovered Olympia's secret started out like any other day at Odd Squad Otis, and Olympia were sitting at their desk finishing up their paperwork from their last case where they had to stop Fladam again. Suddenly the relative peacefulness of the room was shattered when Ms O. Thundered from on high.
"Otis, Olympia, My office now!!"
The two partners scrambled up the stairs and into Miss O's office.
"There you two are," she said when they entered the room, "Something Very Odd has happened There is a new villain in town. He's called the Dementor he lures people into traps by making things appear to be what they're not. He was last seen at Callahan's airfield. Well what are you waiting for? go!"
Olympia and Otis hurried out of the office, slid down the slide and ran for the tube lobby. When they got there, they told O'Brian to send them to Callahan's Airfield. After a quick ride through the Tubes they arrived with a whoosh at the Airfield. As soon as they came out of the tube entrance. They spotted Dementor, he was a tall skinny character with curly hair. He was wearing a red suit with black horizontal stripes. On his chest was a large spinning hypno-wheel, and his face was hidden by a winter face mask that hid everything below his eyes.
"Odd Squad, stop right there, Dementor!" they cried in unison. Dementor turned toward them and cackled,
I've been expecting you," he said in a shrill crazed voice, "Catch me if you can." He took off running. The agents took off after him they rounded the building and saw Dementor jumping into the back of a semi-truck and trailer that was sitting there.
"Well that was a Mistake," said Olympia, as she bolted ahead toward the truck, suddenly something occurred to Otis.
"Olympia wait," he called out, but she had already disappeared onto the back of the trailer without hesitating Otis dove in after her. When he got inside they found they were in the passenger cabin of a large skydiving plane!
"Uh, what just happened?" said Olympia looking around at where they were.
"Don't you remember what Ms. O told us?" said Otis. Miss O popped up before Olympia could answer.
"Yeah,"said Ms. O, "I told you that the Dementor lures people into traps by messing with your head and making things appear to be what they're not."
"Oh yeah," said Olympia, with a guilty smile, "Sort of forgot about that."
"Right," said Otis, grabbing his partner's hand, "Which means we'd better get out of here fast!" They started toward the door when suddenly it slammed and there was the sound of the engines firing up!†they looked out the window and saw the dementor with a remote control. In spite of the fact he was masked they could tell he was laughing at them.
The next thing they knew the plane was airborne and climbing higher and higher.
"Suddenly popping up here doesn't seem like such a good idea," said Ms. O. she checked the altimeter it said they were already at six thousand feet and climbing fast.
"I don't know how high he's going to send us," she said, "So we'd better figure something out fast!" Otis was about to reply when he suddenly realized that he was still holding Olympia's hand. Their eyes met, they blushed, and let go.
