*** LATER THAT DAY ***
I was nervous. It was going to be the first time I actually got to hangout with someone around here. My first new friend. It also didn't help that my new friend just happened to be a cute boy my age. Wait, is this a date? Nah I wish. I put on a pair of black yoga shorts and a cheetah print tank top over a black spaghetti string tank top, and threw my hair up into a cute messy bun. Then I quickly did my eyeliner and mascara, sprayed on a little perfume, and grabbed my favorite purse. I met Brayden down at the park. He looked so cute in his Nike shirt and shorts. "So what are we gonna do?" I asked. "Its a surprise," he replied. "Come with me," I followed him down the street to a small gas station. "Wait here," he told me, I did. He came back out with a bag of gummy bears and two Mountain Dews. "Thanks," I said as he handed me the the drink and offered me the gummies. We went back to the park and sat under a tree by the pond as we finished eating. The water was so beautiful in the semi darkness with lights shining onto the pond. I took the last gummy bear before Braydon could even touch it. I ended up getting chased around the park until he grabbed me and held me for a second. It got kinda awkward after that. There was a breeze and it was getting chilly so he walked me home. As I was walking up the steps to my front door I heard Braydon say my name. I turned around "yeah?" "I was just wondering, can we do this again sometime...as a date maybe?" He blushed. "Of course," I grinned. We said good bye and I went in. My dads car pulled In the driveway. "Hey booger, how was your day?" "Great! I made a new friend!" I smiled as I went up the stairs to my room to get ready for bed. I was pretty exhausted from running around in the park.
