Ariel's P.O.V

"Are you coming to Hudsen's party tonight?" My friend, Whinney questioned as she looked at me. I looked away from the window, and chuckled at her, "I wasn't invited." I simply stated as I drew my attention back the rain that was falling ever so hard on the ground. Whinney was my best friend, ever since I was like four years old, and considering she lives one house down; I always see her every day.

"Shut up, every senior was invited. It's like the beginning of the year party, you have to come." She says as she gets up and sits next to me; on the couch next the window. I sigh as I continue to look at the rain falling, "I'm busy tonight anyways. Orange Is The New Black season two just came out on  Netflix, and I have to watch it."

"You can watch it another night, but you can't go to a beginning of the year party for senior year, any night now can you?" She says as she gets up from the couch, "And anyways, Orange Is The New Black sucks, so you're not missing much." I get up from the couch after her and point my finger to my door that leads out of my room, "Get out."

She falls into laughter as she takes a seat on my bed, "Please Ariel, please!" She begs as she basically has a full on tantrum on my bed. I sigh as I try to avoid her screaming and crying. She literally acts like a five year old, if she doesn't get her way.

"Fine," I said as I gave in to her screaming to avoid a headache, "I'll go, just please shut up."  Whinne laughs as she gets up from the bed, "Put some makeup on, do your hair, and wear something nice. I'll be here to pick you up in two hours." She smiles as she leaves my room. Why did I agree to this?

I fall onto my bed as I open my laptop up, it doesn't take me too long to get ready so I guess I could just watch one episode, right?

After the episode ends, I look at the time. I have about roughly forty five minutes to get ready. I again let out a big sigh as I grab my phone and make my way to my bathroom. As I get into the bathroom, I close the door and walk to the mirror. I look awful, but who can blame me? It's summer, I don't do anything during summer. I haven't touched my mascara since May.

Sadly, school was starting up on Monday, and that meant an entire year of seeing people I didn't like,  nor did I want to see on a daily basis. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate people. Like for example I love David Becaham, and Johnny Depp, and they're people. But, they're about the only people I like.

I get out my makeup bag and try to desperately find my concealer to cover up my dark ass under circle's underneath my eyes. It's a blessing. I then grab some mascara and eyebrow pencil and complete my look for the night. I look rather, the same, but you know at least I tried. As for my hair, I just brush it and straighten it as much as I can before I ran out of time. I had ten minutes until 9, and that was the time Whinnie said she was coming to pick me up, so I decided to run to my room, and pick out an outfit real quick. I decided to wear my black skinny jeans with some old grey areosmith shirt from the 90's. I look in my closet, and pick some vans and put them on while I go downstairs. I was a little hungry so I decided to grab a poptart.
