Boy, you're gonna know it all
You'll think you're ten feet tall
And run like you're bulletproof
And total a car or two
Boy, you're gonna hate this town
Wish you could burn it down
That fire in your eyes is twenty counties wide
But boy, you're gonna love seventeen
And boy, you'll do some stupid things

The redhead looked in the backseat briefly looking at Mason, he looked like her.. except his eyes, his hair, his genes. They were all her Gypsy's. It had been six years since she took off, and honestly she was nervous as hell, her phone ripped her out of her thoughts.

"This is Madison?" She didn't recognize the number, but she figured it was Destiny, the only person who knew the truth. "Yeah, yeah. Thirty minutes out. Dest, keep him there." She said gently as she sped past the welcome to Hemlock County sign.

  You're gonna drive and kiss
And throw a punch
And grow up way too fast
You're gonna drop the ball
Hit the wall
And break some hearts like glass
I know you will, 'cause you're a part of me
And a part of you will always be a boy

The time she had with Peter flashed through her head as she pulled into a parking spot in front of Destiny's just as Mason was waking up. "Mama?" He asked sleepily, Madi turned and smiled at him. "Hey baby. Ready to meet your Auntie Des?" She asked gently. The boy nodded fiddling with his booster seat to get out. "Easy pup." She said laughing softly before hopping out of the truck. She rounded it and climbed up helping him get out.

  You're gonna be so stubborn
You get that from your mother
I already see it now, you weren't built for backing down
And boy, there'll be a small town nights
And you'll fall for her sky-blue eyes
And when she's in your hands
You'll think you're a man and not a boy
She'll make you lose your mind, boy
She'll be every reason why

Madi held Mason's hand and knocked, within an instant she was wrapped in Destiny's arms, "I missed you wolf girl." She whispered in Madison's ear. "I missed you too." Madi responded. Destiny ushered the two in and Madi felt her breath hitch seeing him for the first time in six years. "Come on." Destiny scooped Mason off, "Let Mama and Peter talk yes?" Mason nodded already enthralled with the woman. Madi did the one thing she warned him she would do, she got comfortable.. she got scared.. so she bolted. She wasn't sure he'd want her or Mason.

  You're gonna drive and kiss

And throw a punch
And grow up way too fast
You're gonna drop the ball
Hit the wall
And break some hearts like glass
I know you will, 'cause you're a part of me
And a part of you will always be my boy

That's when the yelling started, the why's and how could yous. Madi refused to cry, refused to break. The sound of skin making contact with a face was heard finally. "Don't you dare." She hissed out. "Don't you dare say that to me." She felt her small fists clench, she saw the small hazel eyes peer around the corner, a perfect mix of the two of them before running out and hugging her legs.

It's 3am and I'd do anything to get you back to sleep
And that face will be the same one in the rear-view
The day I watch you leaveBut boy, you're gonna come back home
You're gonna settle down
But you won't feel the way I'm feelin' now
Until you have a boy
He's gonna know it all
He'll think he's ten feet tall
And run like he's bulletproof
And total a car or two

Madison crouched down and turned the small boy to face Peter. "Mason.." Madi said carefully, "This is Peter.. you're dad."

Mason looked up at the man, "Mama tells me you're a superhero.. that you saved her.. and me. Is that true..?"

Peter chuckled softly all the anger he felt melted away. "I wouldn't say superhero, but a Gypsy boy does whatever it takes to save the woman he loves. And his unborn son." Madi didn't make up lies to Mason, she couldn't. She told him the truth.

"Mama, are we staying?" Mas asked hopefully.

"Do you want to stay little pup?" She asked gently, "Do you want us to stay Peter?"

Mason's hazel eyes went round in a perfect puppy dog fashion, a chuckle resounded once more.

"Of course I want you to stay."
